Why do people say Gasol will choke in the playoffs?

But the idea is that Gassole will choke figuratively speaking rather than literally  . So its not in reference to swollowing food and the heimlich maneuver, its more the mental definition of choking  . And its mainly a knock on his lack of playoff experience  . I think thats the biggest reason for why nobody expects LA to win the Championship anytime soon  . Sorry to upstage your little joke there with a dose of reality

Wow, just wow.

He doesn't choke...he won't choke...it's easy not to when you've got a good team around you to pick up your slack if you start to fade.

One game, and one more win in the playoffs then he's ever had.

Nothing against Mike Miller and Shane Battier, but i think there's a big difference between those two and Kobe and Lamar Odom.

Plus the Lakers have better role players then those Memphis teams.

I bet he had more open dunks in this game than in his previous 12 playoff games combined.

Kobe, Odom and (yes) Radmanovic were setting him up proper today.

But you have to give Pau credit for how great he runs the floor. For a 7 footer he's able to keep up with the faster guards who like to push the ball up.

...and a much better offensive system, and Gasol still averaged 20 PPG in his previous series' at 49% FG, and the only series he shot bad was against Dallas.
