Most everyone who used to play for the Bucks are out of the league.
Magloire and Bogut seemed to get along fine here. wouldn't guess it would be him.
Joe Smith.... possibly
Fruit in the Beer.... possibly
Earl Boykins.... doubt it.
TJ..... they didn't get into this past season.
Rube..... was he even in the NBA?
That's about it.
My guess is that it was Joe Smith. IF an elder statesman in the league says that nobody in the NBA likes you, you've got problems.

It would be odd if it was Joe, though. In the game against Cleveland they used clips of Joe talking up Andrew. Obviously that doesn't mean that Joe doesn't think Andrew is a dick, but you think he'd be selective enough to not make a comment like that to a member of the media whilst giving glowing praise to another.

I don't know if it's Joe Smith or not.........but I can't keep giving Smith a pass like he gets on this board and everywhere else he goes... He's had all sorts of questionable incidents in his past.....yet his big smile seems to buy him out of a ton of problems.
Had he come up with the "Joe Smith Show" first, I have no doubt we'd have never traded him but granted him a $40mm extension.

I agree a bit, I was trying to highlight that if it was Joe then
1. Smiling assassin is he
2. Dumb to be so obvious about it

Very true. Smith has taken very little blame for some of the things he's done.
I want to say that I remember Smith and Bogut mixing it up when Smith was with Chicago, though I could be wrong.

The Raptors have problems.....they are stuck in that no mans land....with Bosh clearly good enough to always be a 41-win team. But Bargnani doesn't appear to be the answer as the second banana.....
And they'll be forced to pay about $17mm a year to their PG duo...which might not be a bad deal.....but it will take away some flexibility elsewhere.

Bosh is now shooting 39% from the floor in seven career playoff games. That's becoming a pretty huge problem for the Raptors too. You can't get to the playoff and have your best player come up small all the time.

The thrust of the discussion seems to be on how Redd is the source of all evil. Perhaps that's true.
But just to suggest an alternative:
1. The failed 3-pointer may have perhaps been a case where the communication wasn't clear. Maybe he wasn't listening. Maybe he misunderstood. Maybe the instructions weren't entirely clear. But there can be something other than flat out knowingly going directly contrary to the coach's instruction, and then flat out lying about it afterwards?
2. That he's not a strong, charismatic, magnetic leader has long been known. But leaders also require followers. If a strong leader calls guys for a hands-up-rah-rah, might there be some dumb aimless guys aimlessly wandering around somewhere else who don't even notice? Might it be somewhat at fault of the airheads as the "weak leader"? I have no idea. Obviously the thrust of the paragraph was on Redd's weak leadership, a given. But the "aimlessly wandering around" also seems to indight some players. Why should they ever be doing anything "aimlessly"?

It's certainly fair to place blame on Redd for the issues he brought to the team this season. It's unfair and highly inaccurate to assume Redd was the only problem or major problem this team had and that he alone was responsible for the dismal season the Bucks had. What's interesting about all of this stuff about Redd is that many of the same issues he had with Krystkowiak (tuning him out, not respecting him, not doing in games what he did in practice) were problems nearly every other player on the team had with him as well at some point during the season.

1. Bogut alienates the entire NBA, including his own teammates by making anti-American, easily construed as racist remarks.
What exactly was racist? Sure he generalized but wait how many retired NFL/NBA players have gone bankrupt been swindled etc etc. Far more regular occurrence than you think. The gangsta culture? Is it so bad to be calling it out when hey a lot of players wear the badge like its some honourable thing. Well it's not. You may or may not be aware but you need to wake up to the fact that America is the most patriotic country in the world. As Americans (although I'm an Australian citizen now) we are proud of our heritage to the point where it's pretty in your face and alienates those we come into contact with. We do have a superiority complex as a whole. That in itself is racism. Now I'm not black but I am of Asian descent so discrimination and racism are issues I deal with as well. This interview is just calling a spade a spade. THe money - the groupies - the fast cars. Wait didn't Jayson Williams write a book called "Loose Balls" which pretty much repeated everything in this article? Or is it because AB is white that its suddenly taboo?

It's because he (Bogut) used no tact when he made his judgements.
Also, maybe it is a little too early in the game for him (Bogut) to be judging anyone or anything.
The epitome of the Bucks problems, and of Andrew Bogut's problems, is a lack of respect.
