Possible Realignment Coming

Post#1 » by KingLakers » Fri Apr 18, 2008 7:53 pm

It looks like the Sonics have a foot out the door in Seattle and are heading to Oklahoma City, will this trigger another realignment in the NBA? I know this probably won't effect the Lakers but another realignment could bring the West a new team like the Bucks and maybe Memphis will finally get its wish to move East.

I know where OKC is but will they remain in Northern division or move southwest and if that happen what will happen to Memphis since its already in the Southwest and the most eastern located western conference team.

this maybe an opportunity to re-align the whole thing. go to top 16 teams in the playoffs, no divisions, play each team 3 times per season etc. or they may move Minnie to the NW. who knows?

There gonna realignment to have the 3 teams from each division make the playoffs with 1 wild card. 4 teams per confrence in the playoffs.

Doesn't Minnessota seem like the most logical West team that should move east?

Top 16 is perfert. All of the west teams deserve to be there and some who didn't make it deserve it.
