No bias since Bulls are a lottery team this year...

1. Phoenix vs. San Antonio

The rivalry continues and it's bound to be heated with the tough play and questionable calls in last years series. Each game will have battles between the likes of all time big man greats in Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire and Shaquille O'Neal. A series that has a alot of contrast in playing style which is bound to be interesting.

2. Los Angeles vs. Denver

Alot of entertainment in this series. Two flashy and fast paced teams going at it with some really star studded rosters. Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol - theres a bunch of all star calibre players in this series. Kobe has the best team around him since the threepeat, it'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.

3. Dallas vs. New Orleans

Chris Paul appears in the playoffs for the first time and hits the ground running. Was the Jason Kidd trade worth it? We will find out. I think this one is definately going to seven games and it's going to be one hell of a showdown in game seven if it does. The severly underrated David West going at last years MVP, while the point guard of yesterday tries to prove his worth against the point guard of today?

4. Washington vs. Cleveland

Any series with LeBron James involved is going to be up there, boring teammates or not. There's alot of things to look for in this one - the fact the Cav's and Wiz always seem to draw each other in the playoffs. The fued going on between LeBron and DeShawn. Gilbert Arenas returning from almost a season long layoff. This series is going to be a close one.

5. Orlando vs. Toronto

Orlando has been a bit of a suprise, Toronto a bit of a dissapointment. We get to see two of the best young bigs in the game battle it out, but they both do it in very different ways. Bosh vs Howard isn't quite like Howard vs Garnett or Stoudemire, but it's bound to be entertaining. Andrea Bargnani needs to show he was worth the number one pick in '06, and Rashard Lewis needs to earn his money by helping Dwight and Hedo to a championship.

6. Houston vs. Utah

They met last year, and they meet again. Tracy McGrady is a perennial loser come the postseason, and many thought that when he was paired with Yao Ming they would finally make a push for the championship. Unfortunately it didn't happen. However, T-Mac put the team on his shoulders when Yao went down and the Rockets played their best basketball ever. He carried the team in the regular season, can he do it again and finally advance?

7. Detroit vs Philadelphia

Philly was one of the best teams in the league in the second half of the season and are alot of fun to watch. We have a young, athletic run and gun team going against a very poised, methodical, half court set veteran team. Alot of contrast in style, but both teams don't have a single guy they rely on like teams such as Cleveland and Houston for example.

8. Atlanta vs. Boston

The Boston Celtics are the best team in the league, but the real fun involving them won't begin for a while yet. They'll have no problem coasting over the young and inexperienced Hawks in the first round. Both teams are fun to watch, but the storylines and matchups just aren't there. Kevin Garnett vs Al Horford or Ray Allen vs Joe Johnson aren't the most exciting matchups, and the parity between the two teams make this matchup a bit of a snoozer.

1. PHX-SAS
Worthy of a conference finals match-up

2. UTA-HOU
My own team!

3. LAL-DEN
Will be a fun, high-scoring series

4. WAS-CLE
LBJ is overrated, says DeShawn Stevenson.

5. DAL-NOH
Experience vs Exuberance

6. ORL-TOR
The fanbases blow this one out of context.

7. DET-PHI
Nice to see Philly steal one, but this series won't be exciting until the Pistons go to the brink of elimination (if it goes that far..)

8. ATL-BOS
Sweep?

4. Lakers - Nuggets
5. Toronto - Orlando

I'll watch the top 4 series on TV, the bottom 4 I'll only turn on if it's a close game late.

honestly after watching the Suns/Spurs game I haven't been satisfied with any other series I've seen since, so for me it's clearly.

^ Yeah, so what happens now if the Spurs beat the Suns the next 3 games by 20 or more? Still exciting? How game 1 turned out to be won't necessarily be the same as the other games in the series.

So my basis would be based on storyline, matchup and game 1 results. My picks:

Spurs-Suns - Not simply because of game 1 results, but also because I'm curious to find out which among these 2 teams will get bounced in the 1st round. I'm also curious as to how well a motivated Shaq would perform. By the way, I find it funny many people are partial to the Suns, considering majority of the people here were claiming Shaq is a fat, lazy bum who's way past his prime.

Cavaliers-Wizards - Too many trash talking occurred; bad blood between these two teams; and the fact that there were lots of controversial calls or missed calls the last time these 2 teams met in the playoffs.

Lakers-Nuggets - Too many good players that could score in a variety of ways. After Iverson's game 1 ejection, I'm waiting how he bodes himself in game 2. Also, these 2 teams are arguably within the top 3 most stacked teams in the league. The difference is one is a #1 seed while the other is a #8.

Mavericks-Hornets - Experience vs youth. 2 talented teams with great matchups in Dirk/West, Paul/Kidd, Gung-Ho/Bonzi, Bass/Chandler, Peja/Terry. Something tells me Kidd won't go down without a bang. I would've rated this series higher but the series thread is so dead. Half the fun for me is seeing fans of the teams going at it.

Rockets-Jazz - It's no fun watching a matchup where one team is missing their best/2nd best player. The only thing that's keeping this somewhat interesting is the fact that Houston fans and Jazz fans are in it. Arguably 2 of the easiest-to-piss-off fans in RealGM. No offense.

76ers-Pistons - I'm interested in this for the mere fact that the 76ers won game 1. The Pistons have underachieved the past few playoffs, will this time around hold true? Will the 76ers upset the mighty Pistons? It's also a feel good story for the 76ers, who have improved dramatically as the season ended.

Raptors-Magic - I had high hopes for this series seeing it's Toronto fans vs. Magic fans; but somehow it seems like Raptors fans have dwindled in numbers. And after seeing Dwight Howard double Bosh's production in game 1, this series lost favor.

Celtics-Hawks - Zzzzz. Didn't even bother to check out the score.

that's definitely an issue I'm willing to take up later  , either way I'm sure I'll end up really watching the Mavs/Hornets series since I want to see if they can somehow stop or slow down Chris Paul.
