This being a Bucks board we should acknowledge that Mo's a big problem, and so is Redd.

Hopefully both are out of here and we can move on.

Agreed. What's funny about all of this is DrugBust was actually calling me desperate. There's a lot of desperation in this thread but none of it has come from me. :)

The Tony Brown confirmation came on a Bucks pre-game show I think. It probably wouldn't even be in print (unless the JS breaks the story in the next day or two).

Lost in all of this is how the COACH of the team called Redd the real problem with the Bucks.

Sorry did I only get an edited transcript of the interview? Did he say somewhere that Redd was the real problem with the team and Mo was an angel?

The funny part is that I never liked Mo until TJ was traded and it became one poster's mission to smear the guy at any (literally) opportunity.

I'm in this boat. I always liked Ford much more then Mo and never understood all the hostilities towards him the last 2 years.

I've felt the same way when it comes to reading the comments made about Redd and even going back to Ford - the vast majority of which were made by the person claiming I'm running some kind of smear campaign against Mo. Honestly, the balls it takes to accuse someone of doing something you do in stronger fashion is mindboggling to me. I can't imagine presenting such blatant hypocrisy and expect people to believe a word of it.

Oh well.

I'm just asking for something in print.

I finally found Garry D.(ouschebag) Howard, he has been amongst us pimping Mo all along. Who would have guessed!

Not from me. You've gotten nothing of the sort from me.

If people think I'm too hard on Mo I can appreciate that. I disagree but I respect a person's right to feel that way. However, if you believe that's the case then you have to believe midranger is just as hard on Redd or even Ford before him and oftentimes more so. For example, I didn't spend most of this season posting Mo trade threads. I've probably only named a couple of trade proposals involving Mo the entire season. I certainly have never in the history of my time on this board posted a thread titled "Mo Williams Sucks." And if Mo does well I praise him contrary to midranger's refusal to acknowledge anything positive that Redd does.

And yet I'm the one with an agenda? That's a laugh.

So if you want to believe my posts about Mo are too harsh, that's one thing. But at least have some integrity and show that you're willing to apply the standards equally and call out others when they do the same types of things with regard to other players that you're criticizing me for. Otherwise, your complaints about me ring hollow and lack merit.

I want them both gone at this point. I'm tired of the whole deal and I want the team to start fresh with a new backcourt.

I agree.

Not me

I loved Ford his rookie year, but his crappy attitude the year he came back after his injury and his no defense playing pint sized stature made me glad we traded him before the Bucks could give him an extension.

I then got very leery of resigning Mo after seeing his red cape defense, but held out a sliver of hope that under a new coach his defense would improve. Well, LK was also unable to get Mo to care about defense, i highly doubt now that any coach can. Maybe if a time machine brought Jordan in his prime to the Bucks, he could intimidate Mo into defending better, but that obviously isn't going to happen.

So now i have zero affection left for either guy and will be glad when the day finally comes that neither guy is wearing a Bucks uniform to wave their matador capes to opposing point guards as they penetrate the lane at will.

I do agree that overall Mo gets more blame than he should for the poor records the last two years of these severely low talent teams the Bucks fielded, but he was without question part of the problem and will likely be shopped with good reason.
