Took me practically half an hour to find Tony. I looked and finally figured I go outside for a smoke and there i found him. Good thing he posted his picture because I would have felt like a gay ass if I went to every guy there asking him if he was Tony Montana.

Great win!

This team plays some of the most entertaining ball I've seen in I don't know how long. Impressive offensive display.

The Lakers defense is still too inconsistent to be discussed as contender worthy. And, playing the score like that will always come back to bite you in the...

Either way, I still have us at 4-2, just like ST.

I'm waiting for Gasol to get a Spaniard goatee cut and get more involved in the offense via pick/roll-screen/roll-pick/pop thanks to Karl changing up his defense. :)

Phil's been motivated.

Timely timeouts, too.

I like their team, but I'd rather focus on our home team.

What a game thread! What a game.

I agree with EE, we play some entertaining ball, now we just have to buckle down on the defensive end. We played pretty decent defense until the 4th quarter, where that run got us a little bit. Keep them around 100-105 points a game, and we should be good.

Great play by Odom.. man, watching him play is so fun when he's on his game.

One down, three to go.

Pau and Odom were monsters yesterday. If they continue playing with that type of agressiveness, there aren't many teams that can beat us. I figured both of those would have a huge series, but damn... they went nuts yesterday.

Kobe needs to shoot a little less. I'm not all that disappointed that he shot poorly (he missed a few that are normally gimmes), but some of his shots were very much forced. He shouldn't be taking 26 shots with the various options we have in our offense. I'd prefer that he toned it down and took 20-21 a game, while continuing to play good defense, which is the part of his game that I was most impressed with.

I think the refs need to recognize that the Lakers are putting in effort on the defensive side and stop with all the ticky-tack fouls. You look at teams like Boston and Detroit, and they get away with a lot of aggressiveness, primarily because they are known to be defensive teams. The Lakers need to establish their reputation in this regard so that refs let them play a more physical game.

Gasol is the best thing that happened to the Lakers this season.

*sigh*

You guys have a great shot at the title.
