Who should the Warriors should select at #14?
Alot of mock drafts have the W's taking Darrell Arthur, which I think is good pick and good fit but what other player could they take that could be better fit for the Warriors?
If you're the Gm, would you trade the pick?

They will take whoever they feel is the BPA. Need-wise, their young core is Monta/Wright/Biedrins, so a SF or a guard at whatever position Monta ends up not playing would be the most obvious fit. Draft express has them drafting Budinger, who is a very GS type of player (fast, good hops, good fast break player in general, should be a good 3 shooter).

Question is whether or not you consider AB a C or a PF. I would go Arthrur, just because he probably is BPA and gives them size, something they truly don't have. They have three legit bigs (AB, Wright, Harrington) and if Nelson doesn't come back, they should have at least four. You really don't need a SF (SJax is there at least two more years as a starter) and they definitely don't need a G (Davis, Ellis, Azibuke have that locked down).

I agree with this. This may be the best pick the Warriors get for a couple years, so I think they should look towards the future. They have their bigs for the future basically set and they have Ellis.
Personally, I think that if Westbrook falls to them, that he would be an ideal pick, but assuming he doesn't, I would go with maybe Greene, Batum or Budinger.

There's no way we're taking Budinger at #14...I just don't think Budingers game will translate to the NBA. I don't think the W's want to draft Tom Tolbert 2.0 with better athleticism and jumper.
I hope we move up in the draft and land Eric Gordon. How scary would it be if we got Ellis and Gordon on the backcourt!!! Or if anything Gordon could come be one of the first guy off the bench. The guy will be able to contribute next season. You know Keith Smart would be ecstatic since he's from Indiana.
The other guy I like is Batum. We just missed on Rudy Gay but I think this guy could be Euro version of Rudy Gay.
If we go big, I'd be okay with Hibbert since we need some bigs. I'd prefer we get someone else but will not name that guy. It's not Love either.

Terrible fit for us. Too slow, not a good defender and not really a whole lot of upside.

Fat chance. We have his Bird Rights.

First of all, the Sixers can only offer him a 5 year deal. Only the Warriors can offer him that 6th year. And yes, I think we match a $10M/yr offer for Biedrins.
The only way I could see the Sixers getting Biedrins would be to offer him a MAX contract which I believe would require them to renounce their rights to Iguodala. Are they really willing to blow all of their cap space AND lose Iggy for Biedrins? I don't think so.

Oh I definitely agree that we're going big in the first round, but I don't think Hibbert is the man. We need a guy who can compliment AB and Wright (ideally who can play PF and C) who's big, physical and likes to mix it up in the paint. I don't see Hibbert as that guy.
