Right now? What would you rather have?

The 12th pick in the 2008 draft OR Kyle Lowry as your 3rd PG on your depth charts?

kyle lowry as my 3rd pg since that means i have a solid 1st pg and 2nd pg.

I for one would take the 12th pick. If Lowry would be my hypothetical third string PG, I'd take the pick since it would allow me to get a potential first or second string player like Batum, Collison, etc.

12th pick. It may be worse than Lowry, it may be better, but Lowry is one of those guys that are easily replaced and don't really do anything for a team. The 12th pick might get you a solid rotation player, let alone a starter or all-star.

Gimme lowry, he's proven to be a decent, tough NBA player.

For all we know that 12 pick never touches an NBA floor.

no, u just phrased your question in a way that makes it sound like picking lowry guarantees that u also have a solid 1st and 2nd string pg versus a 12th pick where u get no guarantees.
