Why the Jazz will never win a championship.
They've only every won a series that has been given to them by the refs, but I mean let's face it, they're from Utah so they'll never be so marketable that the refs will favor them all the way to a title.
1996: Karl Malone elbows David Robinson unconcious only to see a foul called on the Admiral(David Stern envisioned an exciting NBA finals between the Sonics and Bulls so the Jazz were destroyed.)
1997: Stockton is allowed to play dirty with Matt Maloney all series and Karl Malone is allowed to bear hug Clyde Drexler.(Yeah, like the NBA is going to give you your advantage against Michael Jordan)
1998: Malone is allowed to be overly physical with Tim Duncan.(Jordan again)
2007: Late no call on a travel allows the Jazz to advance.(No unfair calls against S.A. and the Jazz go down in 5)
2008: Lots of bull calls in games 1 and 2.(everyone knows that Jazz have no chance at winning this year.)
Summary, if the Jazz aren't given an unfair advantage by the refs they don't win, and they'll never be given that unfair advantage for 4 consecutive series so they'll never win a ring.

Bad timing on this. They probably will never win a championship. But this shouldn't be coming from a Houston fan b/c they sure will continue to wipe the floor with our asses.
Good team. Better than us for sure without Yao. Maybe even with Yao.

hey i dont care. the jazz could beat us in the 1st round of the playoffs for the next 800 years, but they would never win a title. there aint an nba player alive who wouldnt take an nba ring even if it meant missing the playoffs every other year of his career.

Haha, I know right? Some Utah poster named bojtonfo3i4no or how ever you spell it said that the Jazz won a championship in the ABA, who cares, that was 30+ years ago, and not the NBA

damn man so much hate. the jazz are good, I don't think they'll win it this year but I have them beating the lakers. I'm sad the rockets are losing too but I think we're givin it all we've got, that's all you can ask for. and the korver play at the end was just a fluke and a heartbreaker. too many plays like that.

Actually when I think of Jazz and fouls and Rockets, the only one that sicks out to me is the illegal pick on Barkley that WASN"T CALLED
You're just asking for trolls in this thread. Plus giving Rocket fans a bad name with this whiney BS
Sloan will get his ring. That is a young team and SA and PHX are getting old. They'll see the finals, probably not this year but soon.

See bolded text^. I think you may have lost a little credibility with this one, buddy. That is, unless, you reviewed the tape of this entire series and didn't see one bad call against the spurs.
This thread is a disgrace to RealGM and the internet as a whole. I'm almost impressed by its ludicrousness, its that bad.

Utah beat us. They are the better team. Get over it.
Honestly, out of all the teams in the west to go to the finals, I hope it's Utah.
I hate the Lakers, and I definitely don't want any other TX teams to go.
I guess PHX would also be ok. PHX or Utah.
You don't want the Spurs to go to the finals thats your fault. Personally I want Tim Duncan to win 5 rings. I just hoped it was the Rockets he was going to beat in the WCF. If I sound like I'm being a sore loser.....well I guess I am. That damn foul Kirilenko drew just pissed off like no call since Michael Finely got a steal from out of bounds.

Stop your whining. AK exaggerated the contact, but if you don't think Scola fouled him, you're delusional. He clearly did, just like Brooks' clearly fouled Deron on that screen, which didn't get called. Bad calls go both ways (a lot of them went your way tonight, if you didn't notice).
By the way, refs played a pretty big role in the Jazz not getting a chance to play a Game 7 at home with momentum in the 98 Finals.
