Which player would get your team over the hump?

I'd take Nash. Though Nowitzki's an amazing player, Nash's impact on his teammates makes him more valuable IMO.

The deciding factor for me is what they do in the clutch. I think Dirk's reputation of choking are unwarranted that run on one series, but Nash is disgusting in the clutch.

I was coming in to say the same thing.

Nash seems to hit every big shot he takes. Otherwise they are about the same.

So I'll take Nash.

Dirk without any heisitation. For all the amazingly talented supporting casts Nash has been given he hasn't accomplished much in the playoffs.

Depends on the team, or supporting cast. Though I'd side with Nash here.

I completely agree. Give Dirk a supporting cast of Amare, Marion, Bell, Barbosa etc. and he would EASILY have won a championship

A Stoudemire
D Nowitzki
S Marion
R Bell
L Barbosa

Are you telling me that that team wouldn't win the championship??

Dirk is clearly better.

Well, Nash is a great player but if it wasn't for the Run'N'Gun their wouldn't be any comparison here, with that being said I'd take Dirk, he can pretty much thrive in any type of offense, while Nash is only elite(relative) in the Run'N'Gun.
