Again, I fnd myself wondering.... 'What IS Oberto's role on this team?' If he cannot defend Diaw, he has no chance of defending Snaq / Amare.

quick start, I don't think it'll hold simply because Barbosa is our backup PG and we don't have a creator like Manu (Hill is good, but DA won't use him as the ballhandler for the 2nd unit)

Yet another 'uphill battle' game.

I hope we come out of the commercial break with Ginobili back in the game. We're at ~5mins remaining in the 2nd and I don't think we've gotten a single point from our anybody outside of our big 3.

Barry had a 3...I think that was it. Anyway, the defense needs to tighten up, bigtime. Allowing the Suns to shoot >60% is downright unacceptable.

OK, at the half. I think Gino's fast start has gotten to his head. He is taking defended shots instead of making the extra pass to the wide open shooter.

3 pts in the 1st quarter outside the big 3 is just awful, we need to find a way to get the others involved. I'm not sure how I feel about Horry being in, but at the very least he should be able to defend Diaw which is something Oberto is dooing a horrible job at. We need to do a better job taking it to Snaq and Amare, we have to get them to play timid on defense, which we can only do by getting them in foul trouble.

True. The last play of the half had me shaking my head. Manu, if Barry and Finley are running down the court to get one last shot, why take a contested 3?

I'd rather have Horry on than Oberto..except when Horry shoots in the 2nd quarter(always been that way)..

Manu is so frustrating sometimes..I hate his difficult passes..it's the playoffs, you can't afford to waste possessions..

Shaq squashes Tony Parker like a bug

It's a fact that Tony parker likes to drive the lane. It's also a fact that Shaquille O'Neal is five times heavier than Parker.

It's also a fact that Snaq is not only a little less solid than a brick wall, he's a little less smart than one too.

Now Parker is taking shots that he should pass on. On the fast break, we had Bowen wide open in his spot and the next play down was a 2 on 3 with Nash guarding Duncan.

jesus

I don't even think you guys are defending us that well..the refs aren't going against us either, ALL of this crap we're watching is our doing.

D'Antoni couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag, that much is apparent. Our plays are sit back, watch Nash create and look lost if he can't shoot/find an open player

Spurs 2-0

I hate this hack-a-shaq thing. I realize it's a 'strategy', and Dallas used it against us with Bowen, it just feels cheap. 's almost like saying we cannot defend them.

Don't fret, Tastic. There's a whole quarter left to play. It only takes a few big shots and defensive stops to change a games momentum.

Almost? almost like your saying you cant defend? It's cheap, it's stupid, and this is much worse then flopping. I'll leave with this. Any team but the spurs. please.

It's a mental thing for the Jazz against the spurs. The Jazz know they are the better team but they can't win in san antonio but hopefully CP3 can have a field day against you guys, or wait are we going to have hackatyson? Spurs: Where we used to be a good defensive team, but now all we do is foul and flop happens. You know the hackashaq or whatever is stupid. I can't wait till you go into phoenix and get crushed. You have been outplayed in 6 quarters and 1 OT yet you somehow are going to manage 2 wins.
