I don't feel sorry for Hill. He picked the team he thought had the best chance of winning a ring and I think he was wrong.

Some of you need to realize that money isn't everything. The satisfaction that comes with doing what you love at the highest level is worth far more than money.

Lets see...Grant Hill bolted Detroit to join Duncan in Orlando....whoops. Hill going to the Magic made Ben Wallace a Piston, which gave the Pistons' organization championship ring no. 3. Hill takes the Magics money and does nothing with it because of an injury that I thought everyone knew about.

He then opts out of his contract. Rather then play as a 6th man ( and i think he would've won that award) for a young team coming into its own (something to do with Dwight, Rashard, and Hidayet), he opts for Phoenix.

The Pistons wanted him back (bench role) and I'm pretty sure some other teams did as well (i'm guessing those would've been bench roles as well).

He picks Phoenix who, suprise suprise, use him as a starter.

Now if Hill was as smart as he seems to be, he would've picked the Spurs and finally played with Duncan.

I can't really feel sorry for him. He seems to be "book smart".

Well, still.

His contract and him sat for most of his time there. They showed interest in keeping, he bolts for Phoenix.

Now his former team, is doing better then his current one. Anyone notice a trend.

while feel sorry? If he hadnt flaked out and left the Magic he'd be two up in a series in the weak east, instead of two down to the defending champs. Its his own fault he is where he is now.

He tried chasing a ring and in the end will be further from one.

dude i feel sorry for the Orlando Magic for signing Rashard Lewis to that ridiculous contract...

for the 2012/13 season, D12, Lewis and Nelson will be making a combined $50+ million...that's 3 players with only 1 legit superstar

hill had the choice of where to play, so its hard to feel bad for him.

if youre gonna feel bad for a player, feel bad for someone like eddie jones. he got traded from the lakers and heat the year before they won the championship, theres nothing he couldve done about that.

Magic fans are probably in tears over Grant's lack of playoff success.

Especially because he ws so important in building those teams and they would've been even better with him. There's a guy who should have multiple rings but has to live with none while Glen Rice and Antoine Walker have them.

As for Hill still in Orlando, what sixth man? He'd be their starting shooting guard. He has the skills to play that position. In fact, he'd be great there... again, he dug his own grave.
