Post#1 » by BassMaster » Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:45 pm

Which teams do you think will make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs in the East?.

Boston/Atlanta
Detroit/Philly
Orlando/Toronto
Cleveland/Washington

Also how do you think the Magic will play if/when they get to the second round?

This makes no sense. Is the question "Who will we play in the second round?" Because there are only two possibilities for that: Detroit or Philly.

Actually it makes sense what teams do you think will make it to the next round.
And how do you think the Magic will play. And yes I know it's going to be either Detroit or Philly and yes I would prefer Philly I think lol.
Do you think the Magic will continue playing with everything or will they have nothing left for the next round???

oh...man I didnt get that at all..

Boston
Detroit
Orlando
Cleveland

I think Orlando will play good in the 2nd round and will probably win a game or two...If the starters continue to play solid basketball and we can get a jump on the Pistons offense, we stand a much better shot obviously. Dwight is the key to any games in the playoffs, should he come out like the monster he has been, we could even take the series...like i said, any time a player plays that way, it increases your chances drastically...

What you're seeing now is much different than the original post. Thief cleaned it up considerably.

I seriously doubt credibility of an article which openly states that in Lewis vs LBJ matchup LeBron barely has an advantage. :o

But hey, one can hope. :)

That guy doesn't even mention Detroit in the article. There'd have to be two upsets for a Magic/Cavs ECF series.

Is this the official jinx thread..cmon guys we only won what we have supposed to so far. Lets not get delusions of grandeur. I'd like to get the ecf toi, but we have a very small chance of that. Id say a ten percent chance. IF Detroit looses to Philly it increases..but thats a big if.

I believe that BleacherReport does not think that it is an upset if the Magic were to beat the Pistons since the Magic handled them better then most in the regular season.
It would really be nice.

I hear you, but I don't think we match up well with Detroit defensively and they have a ton of playoff experiance. Im not saying it is impossible, but if we have to scratch and claw our way past the raptors, I don't think we cant take Detroit in a 7 game series. However, I would be most happy to be completely flat out wrong in this..

I do believe that all Magic fans would concur with that last statement.
