On hiding Kidd, i'm talking only about the Hornets game 2 where they had Kidd guarding Peja because CP was doing whatever he wanted but to Kidd's defense there only a few guys in the entire league that can disrupt CP's game.
Oh, you mean like Devin Harris?

And i'm shocked Dallas is looking this bad, I picked them to win this series in 6 games, but Chris Paul is absolutely sonning Kidd out there and no one else on Dallas' roster seems worth a damn besides Dirk.eh, least we got a starter and an extra pick for their troubles...
Yeah, I picked the Mavs in 6 as well.
I think I could be wrong.
And please don't call Devin Harris "a starter".
I understand he is not Kidd, but he is basically a top 10 PG right now and he is only 24.

If Devin Harris is, in your opinion, a top 10 PG, how is he not to be considered a "starter"?
Is he not the starting PG for the Nets?
And Jeff, never ONCE on this Nets forum can you quote me stating that Harris is an all star player, where is this coming from, or are you also trying to start a bunch of crap with me?

Not really, i just got tired of certain people coming at me over b.s. so i decided to say my piece, just like they did.
And defensive isn't me saying my piece, defensive is acting like a bunch of idiots because someone dares to have a different opinion from your own.

Yeah I was thinking the irony it would be if Dallas decides to blow it up and we land Dirk in a 3 team deal.
I know it would never happen, but the irony would be enough to make Kidd retire.

WTF is your problem I was just defending what you said because I didn't think you were trying to insult harris by calling him just starter.

I want to Congrats Kidd too.
I want to thank him for all the wonderful things he has done for us.
Like the trips to the finals. Re vitalizing the Nets from the bottom of the barrel.
Thanks for demanding the trade and us getting Harris and the picks.
Thanks for getting Scott fired and leaving us Frank. If Scott beats Dallas and Kidd then goes to the WCF or even the Finals, I will be very happy but really pissed at the same time. I understood why they fired him, but come on.

props to Kidd on game 3. This is the Kidd that was so great for the Nets, hustling all over the floor, anticipating passes, just lots of energy. He only had 5 assists but his impact was felt from the get-go.
on a sidenote to the Josh Howard Marijuana "story". Devin is his best friend & he has 'that' vibe so (speculation of course) I'm certain he uses (in the off-season *cough*) too, and SWat well c'mon...yeah. They just need to have "Purple Haze" blaring in the locker room and they're all good !

at Kidd's *cough* performance
No contest.
I did comment as soon as the trade was made Kidd could be making a huge mistake for himself. He's getting exactly what he wanted, to play with the big dogz.
A good move by Kidd for the Nets benefit. It was always a 'heads I win, tails you lose" sort of trade. Good job by Thorn.
Too bad for the Mavs and me, I like Dirk and Terry and Cuban, and I still wanted to see some old time Kidd performances. He only had one good steal and one good rebound -- nothing else particularly positive impact. The opposing team is refusing to oblige.

And to think you had people(not just on here, but other sites like Netsdaily, etc) about how the Nets were foolish to trade this guy. After what i saw last night, not only do i think Thorn cashed his chips out at the right time, but the dude looks washed up out there, he's being exposed badly and it serves him right, he thought he was so great and better than everyone on this team, now look at him....a fragile shell of his former self that is getting eaten alive by the best PG in the league and unlike how it was here when he was being a malcontent that thought he could do better than playing alongside the likes of RJ and VC, the current talent around him isn't helping to hide how bad he's fallen off. Anyone who thinks we'd have been in a better position by keeping Kidd at this point is fairly delusional.
Mark Cuban, this one's for you
Looks like Josh Howard isn't the only one whose getting high down there in Texas!!!!!!!!

Why? He didn't want to give up the easy layup. He gave him a hard foul when he couldn't grab him on the break. That's something you're taught once you start playing high school ball. Kidd was going for the hard foul or a steal if he could at the same time as Pargo was going up. It didn't look intentional.
