When will sox management build a new stadium??

They consistently have kept to the idea of improving the old stadium. And they have done a good job, so I applaud them. But looking at both NY teams, both rich in history, building their new stadiums after this year. As well as most stadiums being torn down, and building new.

Anyone against this? A few years ago I was, but right now, I really feel they do need one. Every time I go there, before the game actually starts (get lost in the game) I feel very uncomfortable. It's hot, squished, and many other things. I go to the TD Banknorth Garden, and it is amazing how comfortable you are compared to Fenway. I know its a weird comparison because one is outside, and one isn't. But still.

Do you think they should get a new stadium? And, Will they?

They have been putting way too much money in lately to build a new park. I really don't see a need for it either. Although updating the wooden grandstands would be nice.

i dont think they will for the reason sunshine said, theyve been spending hand over fist on Fenway so theyre prob gonna milk that cow for another 10+ years atleast imo. but if they DID, there is a nice little chunk on the waterfront that would be VERY nice for a park, scenic, space and location, it has it all

I love my fenway park. Once they get rid of all the 1918 people seats in the grandstands it will be fine. I have to admit going to Camden Yards in Baltimore the last 7 years. You get spoiled down there.

Yeah, that's the only problem I have, is the seats really. I mean, yeah, sure it would be nice to have a waterfront ballpark, like greenbeans said, but as long as they can make them seats right, I would be fine with another decade or two of this ballpark.
