Act like you've been there before KG

Post#1 » by Cevap » Thu Apr 24, 2008 3:19 am

Am I the only guy confused why KG acts like a maniac sometimes? Caught the end of the blowout tonight and see Big Ticket pounding his chest and yelling like a jackass. Sure it might've motivated the team back in November and whatever but doing it all the time makes you look like a dick.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Ya it really does haha, I hate seeing players celebrate victory over crappy teams like they've just won a championship..I remember when KG went crazy he beat the T-Wolves this year.

...it really makes me wonder how crazy he'd be if he actually won a championship...

Nah, it's just KG. He'll take every W like every W and celebrate with it. Nothing wrong with it.

After 13 seasons in that **** hole that was the Wolves wouldn't you be pumped also?

Plus have you ever followed KG's career? The guy plays with emotion night in and night out. You can tell he hates losing and you can tell he loves winning. He loves the game and thats the way he plays. I love it personally.

When the Pistons beat the Celtics in Boston it was just another game of 82.

When Boston beat the Pistons in Detroit they were running around bumping chests, popping jerseys, like they just won a championship.

They definitely don't act like they've been there before. But I guess its because they're a bunch of career losers.

I love how Garnett was acting during the end of the game. It's like food and drink to me.

Did anyone catch how Horford took offense and started talking back. God how I love KG.

I definitely like Detroits attitude more.

But what can you say? They won the game. It's his choice how he wants to show his emotion.

The guy loves the game, loves winning, and hates losing. That makes him the same as the other 400 guys in the league. He's pushin 30 and acts like 13. I've honestly haven't seen no one act like that all the time.

He did the same thing in Minny too.

How dare KG get excited that his team just won a playoff game at home! That monster!

Thats the way KG has been his entire career. I don't see why he should change it in the playoffs.

He shouldn't have even been in the game at the time. They were killing the Hawks.

Chris Paul just won his first two playoff games against a vastly better team then the hawks and was professional.

I still remember KG's reaction after a one-point win against the Timberwolves. It was like he won the championship. In some ways, it's ok because you understand that he's a highly emotional person and loves the feeling of winning. But in another way, it's over the top and sort of uncalled for. Others will see it completely differently, but that's my $0.02.

KG is probably the most emotional player in the nba. It's KG being KG.

KG is an enthusiastic person. His energy gets his team and the crowd pumped up.

Some people are boisterous, others are not. But i guess everyone has to be a robot, showing no emotion.

That's a bit extreme. KG isn't the only player in the league to celebrate after a win, but he is the only one that celebrates to that extremity. I'm not saying it's good or bad, but he's not the only non-robotic player in the NBA. He is, as I've said though, the only one to go that far with it.
