chris paul best player in the nba.

Post#1 » by miami heat 28 » Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:29 pm

every one knew he would be great.
but he has become truly the best which is unbeliable for a player
who is only 6 feet.

dwyane wade is my favorite player but i have to admit it.
chris paul is clearly superior.

i would trade dwyane wade in a heartbeat for chris paul.

there i said it...

Why would it personally hurt us if Paul is better than Wade?
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Chris Paul IS (as of right now) better than Wade...

And guess what? I could give two ****.

I'm still not trading a healthy Dwyane Wade for anyone in this league. Because I KNOW when healthy he's among the Best. Add the facts that he's an OG Heater. Through and through. He's given this franchise it's first ever title. That emotional attachment is there, and he's my favorite player in the league. And well...there you go.

Thread is really pointless.

Paul is a fantastic player, but it would be the same as saying he's better than Kobe or James or any of the other big names. It's too hard to tell based on team schemes, position, etc.

This reminds me of the article posted in another thread stating that Rose has the ability to be as good as or better than Paul. Now if that were true, and I had no idea how good Beasley would become than I'd have to take Rose number one.

The Hornets however, have the perfect team surrounding Paul. Without West hitting 18 foot jumpers with ease, Chandler being an alley oop partner every other play, and having a sharpshooting star like Peja then Paul wouldn't be nearly as good.

Paul is an amazing point guard. I would love to have that kid play for the Heat. New Orleans really lucked out in that draft. If it wasn't for Atlanta's infatuation with drafting forwards and they drafted the guy (Paul) that everyone and their mother thought they would... that's actually who this thread should be directed to... Hawks fans. Those poor guys.. Add Paul to that Hawks team and not an old washed out Bibby and that team would be pretty darn good.

Come on, Paul is a better passer, playmaker, and shooter, but thats probably about it. Wade is still the more dominant player when he's on his game like Paul is now. People forget when Wade was racking up 40 pt-13 asst games in his sleep last year. The guy is good.

Chris Paul is better than Wade and should be the MVP this season, but why do you have to be so combative and hostile miami heat 28?

Wade has had the better career thus far..and his best season(06) is still ahead of Paul's best season(this year, so far).

But Paul right now is a top 5 player in basketball..i have Paul ahead until Wade gets back to form.

Theyre very close in terms of where they are as players.

I think youre forgetting though how good wade was playing before the arm injury.

he was putting up something like 30 5 8.

theyre both great players.

We would still suck with Chris Paul, if we had the players that play around Wade right know.

But Paul did have a way better year than Wade, but I wouldn't trade Wade, because I still have gratitude for him being a loyal rookie, the title his brought to us, and he is a player I want to keep through the ups and downs. Not sell out for the new flavor of the month.

Best players this year

Kobe
LeBron
Paul
Dwight Howard.

Hope next year Wade could get back on the list
