Hell, i got happy about the hiring just from the sight of Hammond at the press conference.
He looked and spoke like a professional compared to Larry Harris and his greased back hair and car salesman demeanor. I don't doubt that Harris knows the game, but how carried himself never struck me as very professional.
In Hammond do you trust?

The real sense of hope stems from the fact that we have basketball people making basketball decisions....crazy.
Well, hopefully that will be the case. I'm trying to be optimistic, but we will see if Kohl and his committee let Hammond do what Hammond wants to do. So far they've asked Hammond to keep Babcock as DPP (meddling before Hammond was even officially employed here).
Hammond said he wouldn't have a problem with that.
Hammond asked if he could hire Weltman. Kohl and the committee approved.
Hammond asked if he could hire Skiles. Kohl and the committee approved.
It's still way too early for me to be confident that Kohl and the committee won't begin interfering at some point. We'll see.
Because of Kohl's LONG track record, it isn't actually logical for any of us to be optimistic.
I will choose to be illogically optimistic though just because I'm a Bucks fan and I want to believe that Senator Kohl has seen the light (with the assistance of people like us). So I'll get on board the "In Hammond We Trust" bandwagon and just hope that Kohl and the committee don't cause that bandwagon to throw a wheel and careen into a ditch.

This is huge.
Huge.
It would have been nice to have a coach like this for the last 5 seasons (or at least some of those seasons) instead of Porter, Stotts, and LK.

I don't trust anyone in the Bucks organization, and Im not gonna fall for the same crap they throw out to the fans every season. Hammond is the GM of the names that were out there that I wanted. You got to earn my trust back after the last 3 horrible seasons bc Im not buying the same crap I bought the last 3 seasons.
