Yep. Celtics are too good. We can blame whoever we want, but we are just compeltely outmatched in every area possible.

Only positive in this whole thing is this will likely mean Woodson will not be re-sign. I hope BK and his 6'9 fantasy team are on the way out as well. This roster need some tweaks to it this offseason in order to take that next step.

Things I am learning about this team is, Joe is lost, Bibby sucks, Boston fans is more active than Zaza.

Oh and we should rebuild this team around our 3 forwards, Al, Smoove, and Marvin. Law and them 3 are the ONLY guys actually playing.

I am excited about this team for next year. The experience we are getting out of this series is invaluable.

If we get some pieces off the bench I think we will be much more competitive in the playoffs next season.

I do appreciate that Al Horford and Josh Smith are fighting back. KG is doing his best to intimidate while dominating. This is an important series for us to learn which players can handle playoff intensity and valuable education for all our players. I hope we don't get swept, but if they fight every step of the way its exciting for our future prospects.

I am less enthusiastic about our learning on the job coach.

Agree... there is a reason the Cs won 66 games this season.

We have some great peices but a very flawed and shallow roster full of tired players.

Conley, being tired is mental!

Post#8 » by td00 » Thu Apr 24, 2008 3:32 pm

That can't be an excuse at this level! We can't be a McGrady type team who just plays every once in a while. The mental excuses are ridiculous!
If any of those guys say they are tired, move them to another bench!

We aren't getting the best out of them if they feel this way! I don't care how many games & hours they have to do this. They are way too compensated to have anything like that come into the equation.

Take away 10 of those turnovers, and we have a good nucleus. I don't think Boston is forcing any of this. We are doing it to ourselves.

Its called unforced, in the air decisions, throwing the ball into a crowd.

Its really called learning to play as a unit. Its just not there!

If anyone ever sat down and looked at how many good possessions we had, it would probably hover around 50%. We are giving Boston a green light. Maybe it is the mental toughness to fight back when regular season fouls aren't getting called. While Smoove is trying to adapt, you still see the frustration in his game.

It is at a point where it is definitely an internal battle now for each player on our roster.

The reality is that we are just getting manhandled by a much better team. They won 30 more games than us for a reason.

I would add that both Horford and Law look like the only two guy not being afraid at the point to losing their game. Smith is fighting but still can't be focused enough.

Back to Horford and Law, I was seeing that, and immediately thinking of these two guys being the only two (except Bibby but not these last seasons) who don't know too much of this losing culture, something the other players (Joe, Marvin, both Joshes...) know so well.

The $$$ argument doesn't fly with me. Just because JJ receives a fat chek doesn't mean he can shake a constant double team from what could end up being one of the best defensive units ever. We're talking about a team that is far superior to us in almost every single aspect of the game.

Nice garbage to me...
i agree with Josh , This PO xperience is better tha t any trade we could make during the off season.
other than minor tweaks involving the bench (Zaza, Salim, etc...), trying to bring Andersen and a vet FA in place of Mario or Rich, I am all for keeping this necleus at least until Feb.
those kids are 22-23 and are taking and returning the beating from perenial all-stars.
they are a couple of years and one addition or two away from making real noise...
