Nate Thurmond
It's Thurmond, not Thurman. The guy's a HOF center, and was selected as one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players.
Surprisingly, Howard didn't even know who he was when asked afterwards.
If Dwight has a third 20/20 game tonight...

Not surprising.
The basketball and football generations of today are disconnected and largely oblivious towards their past.
Not so much so in baseball.
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

That is true. Good point.
It does seem a bit odd, however, considering Thurmond was a rebounding center like Howard. Dwight should catch up on a little NBA history.

Thats because baseball is so low and boring that while in the dugouts there's nothing to do but talk about the good ol' days and read Baseball Almanacs

It's crazy the #'s Dwight is putting up and how easy he makes it look, I don't know why what he's doing is not being talked about more. I'm pulling for you guys in the playoffs, the series has been a good one so far.

Lol...that was 1969...Dwights parent's were kids then. In all fairness the guy played almost 40 years ago clear across the country. I'll be honest, I didn'd know who he was either.
