The results doesn't surprise me game 1 and 2. Scola makes his shots so much harder and can't protect the basket, and he misses layups he should make. He was our only player other than tmac that could make us win a game. And we're too undersized on PF. Which is a huge problem without Yao. Tmac 's lack of conditioning and stamina is the problem, but that's part of him. But he played pretty aggressive game 2. That was the best effort from tmac this whole season on game 2.. But 4th Q he got too tired....And thats why he isn't a superstar. He doesn't have the stamina anymore.
Losing Bonzi was a big mistake as I said. And most people realize it finally.... And Battier isn't a defensive god.... cause he's too undersized, but exceptional perimeter defender. And all he does is jumpshoot. My trade proposal for Battier is making so much more sense now. This series shows our inability to attack the basket, or get easy fast break baskets, and defensively we're so weak on rebounding, and we leave many jumpshooters open.

It makes a huge difference when he isn't required to be the primary ballhandler for the majority of the game like he has to do when Rafer doesn't play. I have been saying this for 3 years while some people where clamoring for scrubs like Head to start over him. McGrady has to work too hard when he runs the offense and is still expected to be a finisher which takes way too much out of him.

Yep. This is why having a pass-first PG is more important a PG who can shoot the ball. Rafer is a reliever, and is the master mind behind this offense. Did you see what he had to say during the half-time interview? Man, that just shows how much he knows about our offense.
