Ironically enough both are against the jazz.

It's posts like these that make realgm almost unreadable at times.

Hey, Tequila... what exactly is your reasoning to back up your statement that "The Jazz have never won anything and NEVER WILL"? Seriously, I am curious as to why you think this.

And I really don't understand the timing of all these "The Jazz are a **** franchise and never will win anything" type of posts from all the rockets fans. Seriously, this is type of **** you post when you are UP 2-0... not DOWN 2-0. When you do that it just makes you like like an ignorant fool.

Tequila isn't a Rockets fan. Nice try though.

If you look at 1:10 to 1:20

In this sequence, just before The Foul,
1. Scola goes to the basket (he is not driving, which makes a big difference, he got the pass just at the basket) and makes contact with Okur, who is standing with his arms straight up (his body is going forward), this was no call. BTW this is what Adelmann calls "Scola was hammered" - you be the judge.

2. Scola pushes off Okur with his right arm, going for rebound. Ref sees it, but no call.

3. Scola then, using his left arm "strips" Korver - no call,

4. Right in front of the ref, Scola extends his hand while moving backwards, preventing Kirilenko from going toward T-Mac.

5. Kiri flops to seal the call.

6. The Call

Case closed.

Another magnifico performance by AK47 tonight. That last flop was simply extraordinary.

They tried to cheat us again. Luckily, some key clutch plays by Landry, Mac, and Scola put a stop to that.

The offensive foul they called on McGrady...

I watched it in slo mo several times. I am pretty sure Kirilenko not only fouled T-Mac first, but also gripped T-Mac's arm with his own arm to make it look like an offensive foul.

The flopping is really out of control. The Jazz have mastered the art. It's one thing to do it occasionally but these guys almost rely upon it.

Flopping possibly cost us Game 2 and nearly cost us Game 3. Addressing this issue should be one of the top concerns of the league during the offseason.

Unless you are the Lakers....its likely that every call in Utah is gonna go against your team. We just gotta live with the bad calls we gonna get in game 4 and find a way to duplicate tonight's performance in spite of it.

A] Dont you wathc mike and mike Stu allready said that they dont consider it a huge problem. and are you kidding me? how is that not a foul on tmac? Im not going to bitch about all the calls that could've won us the game(and1). Tmac hooks andrei then tries to still get open. How that would be a call on ak is beyond me. How do you guys win a game and then bitch about officiating still?

Like in politics, if you will repeat a lie enough, people will start believing you.

The problem is that for someone who didn't see the game, after reading last couple of Rockets posts, the impression will be that Rockets were cheated by flopping Kiri.
How about the Rockets team with half of the players as professional floppers.

It is a typical case of situation, where someone can see splinter in another person's eye, but cannot see a log in his own eye.

i didnt see any flops by the jazz, maybe kirilenko tried to flop with .02 seconds left

but i thought the rockets were given a gift when they allowed tmacs 3 pt. play to count when utah was called for a foul on a screen. then i thought time shouldve been added on after landry made that block on williams and then whoever got fouled (amazing play btw)

didnt see much of a problem other then that. i do find it hilarious the rockets call other teams floppers though, battier apparently never flops but is always in perfect position (i always see this) and dont even get me started on scola

Scola flops for sure, but Battier really doesn't. When I say Battier doesn't I mean it's not something he does a lot. Of course every player flops, but "floppers" are those who do it constantly, and as someone who watches all Rockets game I can honestly tell you that Shane doesn't flop.

It's not a flop when you take at least a significant amount of contact, and you take it to the floor like a man. Flopping is when you flail around like a fish out of water, or when you initiate contact and embellish it/fake contact. Dirk flops, Ginobili flops, apparently from what I've seen in this Houston-Utah series AK flops. Battier takes a lot of charges, but he doesn't flop. He was 3rd in DPOY for playing solid, fair defense...not faking contact.

i agree he's a solid defender, when you were in the middle of the streak the D he put on kobe was amazing how he was able to get his hand right in his face in between his arms as he shot

as for dirk, i hate that people say he flops, really the only example i recall him flopping was when tyson got that T in game 1 of the series. he really doesnt flop as much as people think

Of course the "Call" was garbage and robbed the Rockets a huge 3 pointer by Bobby Jackson. Who knows what the outcome of the game could have been. Although, as TERRIBLE of a call that was at THAT point in the game, the Rockets missed plenty of free throws which could have potentially given them some breathing room down the stretch.

My biggest beef with that call is that if your gonna make that call with 45 seconds left in the 4th down the stretch then you need to make the same call throughout the rest of the games. They failed to do that tonight. Your telling me that as physical as the Jazz play, they didnt commit more than what 2 maybe 3 fouls in the 2nd and 3rd quarter combined? Whatever

That was my problem with "the call" as well. The refs were letting ticky-tack sh*t go all night, and then they blew the whistle on something that would in no way have effected Mac's cross court pass to Bobby. Oh well...

You've got to be kidding. He's had about 10 this series alone. He's the classic flopper in the taking charges sense. In game 1 he actually fell down anticipating the contact before anyone touched him. Battier flops like a fish.
