Landry definitely showed heart and soul. All of our PF's, Scola, Landry, Hayes make up for lack of talent in just raw heart and willpower. I challenge anyone to find a more hardworking bunch of guys at the PF position.
Alston was definitely the leader of the team. Tmac has NEVER had a PG like Alston, who is able to take over and RUN the offense for a damn minute confidentally. And Alston did all of that and did it with immense pressure in the hardest homecourt while just literally walking out of the street in his first game back.

He got the minutes he was lacking in the first two games and got it done!!! His prescence is a difference maker and needs to be out there half the game.
Id have to disagree with everybody on this one. We have a bunch of guys with HEART on this team. I see it all the time in Scola, Hayes and Landry when they are battling for boards, providing and making plays for 2nd chance oppurtunities.
I see the heart when Battier plays tenacious defense every game and all game long. Or when Mutombo is constantly altering and blocking tough shots in the paint. I see it when he takes pride and waives his finger, saying "Get dat sh*t out of here!"
Rafer keeps it all together and plays hard every night and is truly a leader on the court. Its great to see a PG playing with heart and passion. We definatley missed that once he lost Francis then Sura.
Last but not least, I can see the Heart in TRACY MCGRADY !!! The guy is averaging damn near a triple double this series. He's attacking early and still looking for his teammates through out the game. I saw heart in Him when he took his game to that Superstar level down the stretch scroring 7 out of 10 during that run in the last couple of minutes. He got it done! Wish I could have heard Charles and Kenny find a way to criticize him tonight. I was chillin with my grandpa and we watched it on UPN.
Charles and Kenny been defending McGrady all series. They got his back on this one. They understand that one man can't do it in the playoffs and its unfair to blame him. But still he had to be better in the 4th. He was last night. If we can keep it close again in game 4..hopefully he can do it again.
The whole key for us is to keep it close. You let the Jazz get a double digit lead and its over. I mean we got real close...they had an 8 point lead at one point. But the game never got away from us. We have to weather every run they make. We gotta hit back quickly. We don't need a lead. We need a tight game...those are the games I have faith in us winning. The ones that are close b/c I know we'll find some way. It was taken from us in game 2 with a flop and a foul. There was no saving grace for the Jazz last night though. The game was close. And we finished it.

playing utah floopers is definitely a touchstone to the heart and soul of every rocket. until yesterday I saw that coming. we just need to take the ball and finish it tough, no getting around. they'd be flopping like dead flies dropping, but that aint no reason for us to hesitate. down with the pathetic little conspiracy between them and the refs ,we are going to take this series. so GO ROCKETS!
