p.s. Mememo sucks! I am getting to like him less than Dirk, which is a pretty hefty accomplishment. Kirilenko doesn't suck but I hope he gets slapped around a bit with a wet trout for the garbage he's pulled so far this series.

i hate memo too for what he does against us, but i have way more respect for him then dirk. dirk fades in the clutch and is ultra soft. memo's pretty soft but he makes late shots.

I don't really see a win here considering they are going to come out strong and have MUCH more firepower but you never know.

Last game should give us confidence but hopefully not to much to the point where we are looking forward to Game 5 back in Houston.

There are still a lot of things that have to go right if we actually plan on doing the impossible in winning back to back games on the road against Utah. You know they'll come out stronger and look to blow us out the way they have in the past in Utah.

-Though we out-rebounded them and had more offensive rebounds the last game, they were the team in the first quarter to all the looseballs. We need to hold them one possession and defensively rebound the basketball. Don't let them get another 12+ offensive rebounds.

-Play McGrady from the elbow/wing area. The most surprising stat of Game wasn't the fact we had only 9 TO's or actually shot over 44%, it was that McGrady had 0 three point attempts and he's a MUCH more effective player when he's not camping out at the three point line. It was weird, the first two games of the series we went back to JVG offense with the predictable pick and roll and quick double near the top.

-Got to hit shots, as simple as that. We need Alston to have another big game and Scola to finish better around the basket. WE need to be the aggressor. Utah had a parade to the FT line while we frankly didn't. When we go inside we have to initiate the contact, get to the line AND MAKE THEM.

-Defense needs to be stifling again. When you look at the percentages and see Utah shot 45% from the field you'd think we could do better but Utah is the second most efficient offensive team in the league and that's noticeably less than their season average FG%. We could defend the three point line better though where they shot 47% and all on wide open looks. I remember in that first half Deron was WIDE OPEN on literally ever possession. We can't have afford him having another big game because you know Utah will close it out.

Key is just be efficient on both ends of the floor and play with passion, energy and toughness.

We need this, let's get this. It's basically over if we don't get this. I don't think we can win the series if we are down 3-1.

Agreed. But I think you mean a play instead of a possession. Teams basically get the same amount of possessions.

I think the main thing is Tracy McGrady on the offensive end. He is so much better than anyone that guards him, but his shot selection has been so poor. I think he should play off the ball more. Let Alston handle the ball, T-Mac just needs to score and create. I don't like T-Mac in the high post either. He just gets pushed out by AK47 everytime and takes an off balance jumpers. The Rockets need to make the defenders guarding T-Mac work. Come off double screens, run pick-and-rolls, dribble handoffs, or something. But not the high post. When he is stationary its much easier to guard him.

T-Mac is not having a good series despite what ESPN says, and if he keeps settling for jumpers it wont get any better.

If we win it will be amazing!
We need to cool off their first burst of energy because they will come out swinging , stay close and give our selves a shot in the 4th.

Lets win again.

We have to take their crowd out of the game first, like we did last game.

Both teams should be ashamed if we win this game. How many series do u expect to win if you can't hold homecourt? I hope we win this game for the sake of watching more Rocket games!!!

Good luck Rockets. I expect the Jazz to stop gagging on their saliva again like last game.

It should be really tough, and intense, and I suppose (by popular demand) controversial series and games going.

I really don't see how any of you guys could hate Memo. He practically handed the game to you on Thursday by missing all those 3's and FG's. If it weren't for Memo you guys would be down 3-0.

Okur hit a big 3 at the ned , Boozer on the other end had a very bad game.
Okur plays garabge most of the game against us but he always hits 3's at the end of games.

bow2yao on the game thread troll again :)

The funny thing about us..the keys to games never change. We have to start well. We can't get down by more than 10. Keep it close by defending..rebounding and making 3s. And then have McGrady try to win it at the end. I don't see us winning this game. I think its hard to win back to back games in Utah. But b/c we won game 3 we don't have to. We can go home..focus on game 5 and then give winning in Utah another shot in game 6. But at the same time...we can go try to do everything we need to do right tonight and give our selves a chance. Its too deep in the series right now to be letting yourself get blown out. Stay close and give ourselves a chance..if we lose it late then I can live with that.
