Excellent stuff, mavsfoty!

Can the Mavs win the next 4 of 5 against a team this good?! Can Avery save his job? Does the team get dismantled if we lose this series? Who invented liquid soap and why?

Keys to the win tonight:

1) defend, defend, defend
2) rebound, rebound, rebound
3) run, run, run

The last three years somebody has gone nuts on us in the playoffs ... first Wade, then Baron, now Paul. Why? Because we aren't that good defensively.

Gotta figure that out in the long-run. In the short-run, better try to outscore this team, and get some inside help from Dampier or we're dead meat.

But go Mavs! I still cling to hope!

I have seen enough from Stack this series to just sit him and leave him there. Jet should start in his position.

All im asking this team is to better defend the pick-n-rolls. The defender of the guy setting the pick has to slow down Paul by stepping one step in front, showing up and then running back to stop the alley oop. Its essentially that whoever guards Paul at least stays in front of him.

Damp has to defend the paint, no trapping in midcourt, it doesnt work.
And maybe were asking Josh to do too many things at once. Keep it simple: Always stay with your man, Peja most of the game, and on offense either drive on Peja or West, if a guard is on you pass to Jet, he has a mismatch. If youre wide open, green light. Josh has all the tools to decide this series, yet he doesnt show up.

I prob look foolish, last time it worked though. Go Mavs!

Finally home again... The Mavs cant afford to lose one here at all. If Kidd, Josh, and Dirk can play well on both ends than this game should be a breeze, but thats a pretty tall order.

Mavs favored to win by 5.5 points.

O/U is 197

It's time to bring back the lucky angry fans before my lame game threads started to get trumped.

Don't piss off the angry Maverick fans New Orleans.

Must win game tonight. Nothin else really to be said except that I along with everybody else on this board (I'm assuming) if we lose that we WILL NOT beat this team 4 straight.
Dirk is doing what he does, and the only one supporting him is Bass. Dampier gets some props but Stackhouse, JET, and J-Ho please get it together. Can anyone tell me why Jason Kidd doesn't use his size over Paul and post him up?

Yo Picture King, somebody forgot a 'Bro'!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Tyson Chandler is playing like his old self again, finally.

Terry is guarding Paul at 80 feet and whoever is on him is not letting him just prance around.
