The PG position

Post#1 » by rapsdotcom » Sat Apr 26, 2008 4:44 am

Hey, Raptors fan here.
I was just wondering how you guys feel about your team's point guard spot. Obviously AI does the majority of the playmaking, but do you guys feel that an upgraded over AC is needed in the offseason?
If so, what would your thoughts on a TJ Ford for Kleiza deal be? Again, just out of curiousity.
Best of luck with the rest of the season, hope the homecookin' is good for you this weekend against LA!

Ford and Iverson would be the same liabilities we are already seeing on the defensive end from the backcourt. Kleiza is on a cheap deal for another season, so that trade wouldn't work straight up anyways, and we don't need another injury prone player at a key position getting paid the kind of money Ford is making. Personally, I don't like this trade.

I definitely see what you mean. Ford/AI would easily be the league's smallest backcourt. Thanks for the insight.

I love TJ, but like everyone else, not with AI.

I hear Toronto has another decent pg... You wouldn't be holding out on us, would you?
