I'm pretty sure they can't help them enough to beat Spain or the USA.

Wait so Brazil and Greece haven't qualified yet?

Also: Add Chris Paul to the mix and you got:
PG Chris Paul
SG Kobe Bryant
SF LeBron James
PF Amare Stoudemire
C Dwight Howard

lmao this sucks so badly for Spain and China.

On a side note stop with the Chris Paul starting for Team USA garbage, Kidd should start for Team USA plain and simple.

Paul > Kidd, but he needs the ball in his hands to be effective, Kidd on the other hand is just completely ridiculous when he's only asked to chip in here and there with his scoring (or sometimes not at all).

I'd still take Deron or Paul, or maybe even both for Team USA just to throw a different look at teams but both of those guys need to handle the rock a lot more than Kidd does.

You wish. Spain has a nice team build around Gasol, but this years US team are heavy favorites against anyone, including Spain.

Lets hope they take the dollar over there or else team USA might have to play them sleep deprived from not being able to get a hotel.

haha nice joke ;P but rly the devalue of the dollars its incredible, 2 days ago one euro = 1.60 dollars, you compare this with few years ago when one euro = one dollar and you get kinda surprised ;P

Lets go visit New York i expect ^^.

What a waste of star's off-season.

College kids looking to show off some goods for next year and rookies/sophmores should go over there. Not NBA stars. I'd rather see Kobe/LeBron/Dwight/others getting rest in the off-season.

The $ has gone down the sh*tter.

If my Greek boys take things seriously, they will definitely be in China (our guys have been sleeping since losing to Spain in '06).

The U.S. will definitely lose a game in that group, no way they run the table, too much talent.

If Germany can get Kaman, Dirk finally has a guy to share the load with.

I'll guarantee you guys Chris Paul will not start. Jason Kidd will start because of 2 things: 1)The experience factor, he has played on Team USA for a while STILL HAS NOT LOST A GAME OVERSEAS 2) He ran team USA last year, we went perfect, why should be give the starting job to Chris Paul when he doesn't even have the chemistry yet?

The US is definitely in the tougher group, but I'd still rather play Spain and China than Argentina, Lithuania, and Russia. Looks like the US will play first against China.
