ok then lets say if no team wants redd because of what could end up being a to high of a price for him. would u then do that deal and get a butt load of expiring contracts and 2 solid playoff expierence young players.

I'd shop Redd for better offers, but if say this was the only offer, i'd do it if the Cavs threw in their first rounder.

I really really want Redd of the roster

Varejao = Great defender, played a lot of minutes for eastern conference champion

Pavlovic = Good defender, played a lot of minutes for eastern conference champion

Wally World = expiring deal

Gadz = negative value. Huge negative value

Redd = almost untradeble player good for offense in first 3 quarters and if pressure is not high

This would be Pistons like trade. I can see our new GM does this

I would do this trade too but would explore other options for trading Redd before this.

Getting rid of Gadzuric is a huge plus in this trade. I would also hope that Cleveland would give us their first rounder as well.

How about Bobby Simmons and Dan Gadzuric for Wally Szczerbiak and Damon Jones?

actually, i don't think cleveland does this deal. hammond has really got his work cut out for him trying to unload some of these milwaukee contracts.

I say you wait until Redd gets some good publicity in the Olympics before you try to trade him (if at all). Otherwise you'll keep seeing stupid proposals like this.

Cleveland just took on Ben Wallace's contract. Nuff said.

I really believe that this whole unloading of the contracts thing is a bit overrated. What exactly are we going to do with cap space? Most players aren't exactly itching to come to Milwaukee to play for a strict disciplinarian coach. If we're trading Redd, we'd better get more value than this in return.

I'll take Sczerbiak, Pavlovic, and Varajao for Redd and Gadzuric anyday.

It allows us to keep resigning our own talent as it develops, and provides flexibility for trades.

We can unload bad contracts with lottery picks if were desperate.
