I don't think both teams would blow it up, just possibly coaching/and other personnel changes but if either of teams were going to just rebuild it'd probably be the Pistons.
The Suns still have a generally new team and Shaq is one of the hardest contracts to move in the league. I think they HAVE to stay with the team they have while at least the Pistons really have no unmoveable contracts and young players like Stuckey, Johnson, Maxiell and others.
Which Team Blows It Up If Lose in 1st Rd, DET or PHX?

There's not really much they can do. Phoenix is obviously not going to trade Amare, and Nash and Shaq have big contracts and are old so it would be hard to move them. And I just don't see Detroit trading anyone. They'll probably at least wait for Rasheed's contract to end which is after next year. I would think both teams will replace their coaches, and Phoenix will get some more role players cause part of their problem is that they only play 6-7 players.

I'VE GOT IT!
Both teams blow it up in a good Det/Phx trade:
Phoenix sends Amare, Diaw, Bell
Phoenix receives Rasheed, Hamilton, Stuckey, and a protected 1st
Rasheed's defense on Duncan and him playing outside open up the paint more for Shaq's dunks. Rip Hamilton and Steve Nash don't defend, but they don't miss, either. I'm thinking Stuckey starts and Rip becomes a sixth man, eventually. Stuckey gives the backcourt physicality, scoring, and defense needed. His speed and that of Barbosa's prolong Nash's career.
Detroit sends Wallace, Hamilton, Stuckey, 1st
Detroit receives Amare, Diaw, Bell
Detroit starts Prince, Amare, and Billups. Interchangeable parts of Diaw, Maxiell, Amir Johnson, Bell, and Afflalo make the team tougher than before. Rip and Sheed are getting older and this allows them to be replaced with younger, more athletic players who are just as good. Losing Stuckey hurts, but Amare's by far the best player in the deal.
Thoughts?

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
