My God. We give Tracy a three - four minute breather in the second and because of that we go scoreless from the field for damn near seven minutes until he actually has to put all twelve jobbers on his back to get a layup with two minutes left. But of course by that time we're already down five or seven. Did we watch the same game?

I blame Mac for the 3s he took out of the offense. And the missed FT. But that rebound was just a bounce of the ball. McGrady went u to the squeeze it but it hit the backboard and bounced off to Okur. Check the replay.
I know the guy is easy to blame but you can't put every single play that goes wrong on him dude. This team just isn't good when it matters. I figured close game..and we would find a way. But I am reminded of bad Hayes is under the pressure. Of how bad McGrady is from the line. And how Alston can get caught up in the moment and make critical mistakes.

The free throws were his fault, the rebound wasn't. He actually boxed out, and would have had it if it came off the left side of the rim. Landry was pushed by Okur, so you can't really blame him either.

The Rockets, even though down 3-1, have shown more heart and fight than the Jazz. They're severely undermaned and injured, yet have managed to keep every game competitive.
And for the odd bunch, don't blame McGrady. He's the reason why they stand a fighting chance in the first place.
Good luck Rockets! I'll still be rooting for you.

Quit giving McGrady all the credit he doesn't deserve it, its a TEAM effort, and if you had to give it to some one it have to go to our PF they are playing out of this world.

You know thats probably it. Concentration. Its like we had these brain farts are key points in the 4th quarter. Hayes rebounding a McGrady miss and instead of taking his time he tries a bullet pass out to the top and threw it out of bounds. Alston bodying up Deron instead of backing off and guiding him to help like he had been doing all the times previous to that. And Adelman should have had Deke in there after that first miss. McGrady's poor FT shooting is just something he does. He has taken such a fall as a player. I mean yea he is out there by himself but other than game 3...when the game was winnable he never seized it.

Yeah McGrady is the reason why we're a treadmill team instead of a contender for a ring or a contender for a high draft choice. look, i understand hes talented, but damn man box out. why is it the last 2 utah series have basically been decided because neither of our stars can get a rebound.

We miss too many FT's to be a contender or a deep playoff team. We're not good enough offensively to be missing as many FTs as we do. =/ Hustle and FTs win close games. We had the hustle (hence the close game) but not the FTs (hence the loss). The Jazz aren't that much better than us which is the positive note. We just have to win in the categories that people don't notice (Lowering second chance points, FTs, and getting loose balls).

dude...freaking thank you. How is that not an over the back foul? Its one thing if you are gonna let them play. Fine. Just be consistent. If they were not gonna call the over the back then they shouldn't have called a foul 2 seconds later for Okur.

McGrady and Battier have done more for this team during this series than the rest of the team combined.

the foul 2 seconds later for okur actually was BS itself. i was up late and saw the end of the game on replay and tmac hit the ball out of okur's hands okur then hit it out of bounds and THEN battier hit him in the back going for the ball
also the foul on battier when korver went out of bounds was ridiculous. the ref that was standing right there didnt call anything but the one all the way across the court who could only see their backs called it because it looked like a foul. battier had a hand on the ball and was pulling it, which caused korver to fall out of bounds. not a foul. if anything its a jump ball but it wasnt even that it was just out of bounds rockets ball.
gotta be realistic though, landry's putback was offensive interference. still, i really feel we got more bad calls and ours were at ridiculously inopportune times.
nothing we can do about it now. players just need to regroup and prepare themselves for a miraculous 3 game stretch.
hey, we won 22 in a row why not 3.

Not looking to start **** with you all in the wake of what I know was a tough loss, but just a point of logic here:
How could it be out of bounds and Rockets ball, if Battier had his hand on it? That doesn't make any sense. The only real argument is: did Battier push him out vs. no push, and it should have been a jump ball.
