Even the Hawks won't get swept.

You just don't think about this stuff until 3 weeks when everything has worn off and you gain perspective. Right now I think we can win every game. And truthfully...had we made 1 or 2 more plays in games 2 and 4 we would be up 3-1. But I guess that just playoff basketball. The ultimate 'what if'.

Meh you could say the exact same thing about the jazz in game 3

yea denver looking awful has absolutely nothing to do ith the Lakers being good. I mean Lakers being number 1 was just a fluke after all. Why is it always Denver is doing something bad? Thats just totally discrediting the Lakers.

Why can't it be both? The Lakers are miles better than Denver, but that doesn't mean the Nuggets should be getting trounced. I mean, San Antonio was a lot better than them last year, but they put up a great fight in that series.

OP is speaking the truth. Getting demolished year after year despite all that talent is a disgrace to NBA. on the contrary Rockets give all they can to blatantly superior team. even t-mac gives 36 minutes worth of effort.

how dumb that you have to compare your team to some other team in a worse situation just to feel good
and this 110% team is being lead by t mac? I love the guy but he looks like he doesn't even care about what happens or if he gets out of the first round
also just because melo said the rest of the team quit doesn't mean its true. Melo is saying that so himself quitting wouldn't look as bad

The Rockets are scrappy, tough, confident, physical, and have tons of heart. I think Adelman is a great coach and the way his team plays is a reflection of him.

Is George Karl the reason that Denver shows none of the above mentioned qualities? Is he going to be fired if Denver gets swept?

It's really too bad for Denver they didn't stay in the lottery and let Golden State battle the Lakers.

I agree wholeheartedly. When do they have the ceremony to award the trophy to the team with more heart than another team that got their asses handed to them in the first round of the playoffs? I want to be sure to tune in and watch.

You can't blame the Rockets when they didn't have Yao or Alston. Anyways I wouldn't want to be a Suns fan right now, unless they make an incredible comeback than I am jealous.

Houston-Utah has been my favorite series so far. The gritty, blue collar type ball players really shine in that series. Harpring/Millsap and Landry/Scola/Hayes. millsap vs landry is just a great matchup.

I won't bash the Nuggets effort (or lack thereof), nor will I use them to feel better about the Rockets. What I will say though, is that I think George Karl needs to get the boot.

I don't think the nuggets lucks heart and passion, it's just that their system is just a mess, often times they are confused on what to do, the nuggets are like boxers who have lots of heart, but lucks a good system to excel in their competition.

In game one, their defensive plan of putting a lot of pressure to kobe did not work because gasol exploded for 36 points, so they adjusted in game 2 and put more body on gasol, unfortunately kobe bryant exploded for 49 points, in game 3 they have balanced their defense on gasol and kobe, but then everybody on the lakers contributed, so if you are the coach of denver, you maybe asking yourself, man what should I do defensively to stop the lakers?
