Thabeet Stays in school
With the deadline to declare reports are that Thabeet is staying in school. As such I've become significantly less inclined to advocate trading for a mid-1st rounder. I still maintain that it would be great to acquire a late first if Joey Dorsey is available, but looks like free agency will be necessary to find a shot blocking 7 footer to back up the C position. Unless Denver decides to blow up their roster, then trade possibilities may exist.

We do not currently have a pick in either round, but depending on which players are still available late firsts are often acquirable because some teams don't want to deal with the guaranteed contracts. The key is to see value when the other team doesn't, but of course if they're right and you're wrong you get stuck with dead weight.

Still kind of deep at C vs. average year. But I'm not really loving any prospect enough considering the player it would cost us to acquire a pick.
