I Hate Stephen A. Smith, hear me out.

Post#1 » by Magix3 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 11:19 pm

Im a Magic fan obviously, and when he said Chris Bosh can't lead his team I thought it wasn't a true statement, and if you guys do think it is, it's still a rude statement (then Bosh puts in 39/15). Then he says Philly's win was a fluke, well they are up 2-1 . Then he says Atlanta are silly to think they can play with the Celts, the won that night. And again, if you guys don't think it was a false statement, it's still rude.

WTF? Chillax man. The guy says things for entertainment. He didn't label himself as an expert on the game of basketball.

I boycott ESPN because of him. Seriously. I'll have nothing to do with any network that employs him.

The problem with that patterns, he is supposed to be an expert... He gets paid for his analysis of the game

Stephen A is the highest paid 'journalist' in NA.

It's amazing how Screamin' A and Violet Palmer still have their jobs. For every one person who likes either of them there seems to be thousands who hate them.

No he doesn't get paid for his analysis. He gets paid to scream and make absurd statements.

He literally acts as if what he just said or what he's about to say is not only the most important thing that could ever be said, but he's arguably the smartest, and most important individual living...

You're wrong, and have no right to insult Stephen A. Smith until you can do a better job.

No. He gets paid to entertain. ESPN pays him and has him regularly on their network because Screamin' A Smith = ratings, good or bad. The fact that he at least knows something about basketball is icing on the cake for them.

He actually does have some nice points, but 90% is just, like others have said, entertainment. I just hate it when Jalen Rose makes some nice points and he starts to scream.

In this case Stephen A is right on both fronts. Bosh can't lead his team and Philly did fluke out game 1.

Screamin' A get ratings, but I think someone who knows what he's talking about would be better for them. That's why Inside the NBA is the show that it is. Entertaining and intelligent, not obnoxious and ridiculous.
