C-Webb on TNT Debut- Thoughts So Far?

Hey guys,

Obviously, C-Webb started his full-time job as an analyst on TNT tonight...what do you guys think of him so far?

I have to say, he seemed to be a little shy and needs to be more confident when he speaks.

Agree with me?

And what did you guys think of Zo' performance yesterday? (I wish they asked him questions about what happened in Miami this season and the feud between Riley and Shaq)

I think Webber is doing a decent job. He'll get a lot better in time.

I really disliked Mourning, yesterday. He just didn't seem comfortable there, and had no chemistry with EJ and Charles.

Dont even mention Alonzo, he was flat out garbage. What the hell kind of school did he go to? Anyway i havent seen webber with them today but he think he can be pretty good. I wonder if this new rumour of Kenny smith going to new york to be GM coincides with webber being hired there.

I hope C-Webb does well; he's a good guy and I think he'll become really good as soon as he starts to feel comfortable. (Will take time)

He's smart, he's charismatic, and he's likable.

He was always a really media-friendly guy during his playing days, so it's not surprising that he's part of the media now.

He still seems a bit shy, but hopefully he will get more comfortable since he's now going to be doing this full-time.

I also think Zo will be doing media-work once he retires.

I didn't think Zo was garbage, he was fine, nothing special. Mourning went to Georgetown, KMF.

C-Webb's been good, as expected

CWebb was very good last time he was on. So far he's been ok but not great.

He was very good in their one-hour pregame at 6 p.m. And I'm sure he'll be good on Inside. Halftime is the hardest for an analyst - it's one comment and out. That takes time to learn.

I think Zo took himself a little bit too seriously yesterday, but I still think he'll end up doing a good job in the media when he retires.

He's a very intense player, but off-the-court, he's a great guy!

I think Zo has a bright future if he decides to do media work when he retires.

I think the whole issue with C-Webb is how committed he is going to be in regards to this; I don't know, he seems to be a little disinterested today.

But he'll be terrific if he commits himself to this.

I don't think he's a great fit with Ernie, Kenny, and Charles. I think he should be commentating more like Reggie Miller.

C-Webb's debut was excellent considering he had no experience before. He looks like he's going to fit just fine with the Inside The NBA Crew.

I think he'll get better as time goes, I remember him doing a good job on past shows in which he was a guest. He's been alright today, but one positive unlike Mourning yesterday was that he seems to fit right along with Kenny/Charles more joking attitude.

Interesting to see we agree about Zo's performance yesterday; he took himself too seriously.

As far as C-Webb did today; he was decent, not great, but not bad either.

Hopefully he'll get better with time. After all, this was just his first appearance as a full-time member of the team.

But man, Barkley is the best! He was one of those guys who you just knew would do media work when he retired and he's absolutely brilliant.

He's hilarious. Really, the chemistry on the show is fantastic.

Ernie is great, Kenny is great, Barkley is hilarious, and hopefully C-Webb fits in well.

But what happens to Magic, now?

Hopefully Magic never comes back.

I was very impressed with Webber's delivery and commentary. He's not amazingly brilliant or as funny as Charles, but at least he thinks on his feet, speaks quickly and coherently, and has some good points to make.
