If we get swept this series then Godfrey better make some heads roll.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gibby and JP are still here even if they lose the next 5 series.

Yeah I wouldn't be too surprised about that either. Godfrey seems to have bought into JP's false promises so it doesn't feel like he'll be going soon.

A friend of mine brought up how these injuries will provide some more cover for JP and Gibbons. They can just blame the injuries for their poor performance (assuming they do bad down the road), and try again next season with a full roster.

For me the straw that broke it for me regarding the disgraceful manager John Gibbons (aka Gibby) was that extra inning game last month when we had AJ Burenett come in to take the loss...
Well, if anyone remembers in extra innings the showed a shot of GIBBY sprawled out on the bench in the dugout. Instead of motivating his team like a good manager should, he was 1/2 asleep. Needless to say it reflects our teams attitude this year! No care, No worries

The Jays have been making more money than ever before the last few years....because of the Cdn dollar and owning the SkyDome. But JP and Godfrey just trick uncle Ted into thinking they're selling more hotdogs or those hats with the ridiculous logo. They're not going anywhere.

The results of this poll are insane, I can't believe not one person voted to keep Gibby. But now, a month later, with the Jays red hot, do people still want to fire him?

Fire him now? Hard to do so, when the team is playing well. Back when this poll was made the team was struggling, and everyone wanted Gibby gone. Gibby reached the 300 win plateau a few days ago, only the 3rd manager to do so in Jays history. I haven't been a fan of Gibby since he joined the team, but he deserves some credit for that.

He really hasn't changed much during this recent stretch, and instead it has been more of the hitters picking up the slack. I'd still fire him at the end of the season though.

I'm with you rkid. I'd bring in someone with more managerial experience. Someone who has proven themselves in the big leagues.

If the team doesnt go anywherem yes. If we're successful, no.

IF we fire him get someone with experience and someone that will turn this team around.

Ted needs to take a short break from his numerous other obscenely profitable businesses and look at firing all the Jays suits below him and starting from scratch.
