Flagrant Fouls in the playoffs this year...

Post#1 » by Texas Longhorns » Mon Apr 28, 2008 3:51 am

There have been a lot of flagrant fouls already in the playoffs. I am typing this after Jason Kidd got ejected from the Mavs-Hornets game 4. What is it this year, why are there so many flagrant fouls this year more than some of the years past?

I understand the competitiveness this year is really high, but I mean it's crazy how they are coming up. Everyday I see a new one.

There are just a ton of teams playing that straight up don't like each other. That is probably the reason.

i blame harsh reality checks for inferior teams. usually teams realize they are going to lose. this year, teams like the wiz/nuggets/mavs actually thought they had a chance only to have their bubble burst.

It's a lot easier for a hard foul to be designated a flagrant these days too. Not necessarily a bad thing.

The Jazz are yet to commit one yet, so I expect Okur, Boozer or Millsap to put a thwomping on someone tomorrow night. I'm going to go for either Landry or Rafer Alston to commit one on the Jazz.

pu$$y calls.... they really need to man up and let it be like the old days and let fools duke it out. This multiple suspension crap is ridiculous... I wish they would turn back the clock a decade or 2.
