Bye Josh, bye Stack, bye Kidd, bye Avery, bye bench
Who else?
Gut the whole team. I feel sorry for Dirk this series. Busting his ass for a bunch of chumps.
Avery and his lovers Stack, EJ, Juwan, George all the "veteran leaders" should not be anywhere near Dallas next season. Take the useless JHo with them too.
Start over, at least we can have fun watching a young team who might play with more heart than the gutless performances we have seen this season.

With what????? Juwan maybe gets you a cure for crabs? George and a quarter get you a cup of coffee. There is very little on this team that anyone wants. With the exception of Kidd and his 21 mil expiring, Josh "hey man is this some good **** or what" Howard this team just does'nt have anything to offer.

Is that a joke.......
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence: in other words it is war minus the shooting.

Josh Howard really just plays like he doesn't give a s h i t.
When asked about his poor (let's be honest DREADFUL, STACKHOUSE-TYPE PLAY) this whole series, he says that he just "shows up and tries to win"
Yeah, Josh last time I checked, you dubbed yourself an allstar (HAHAHAHAHAHA) and as the second option, maybe you should contribute more than the 26-27% you're shooting this series.
I wish someone would get in his face.

IMO, the best we can hope for is offering some sort of salary relief, maybe like:
Stack (near expiring) + George (1 yr guaranteed) for Carter,
Kidd for JO
Dampier + Stack + cash for Shaq
All unlikely, but just trying to be optamistic.

Lakers fan here, man I still can't believe u guys traded for Kidd, your team was already good and just needed some more time to develop, look at Odom, he was lost for a long time and now he found himself.
Now u guys resemble the old Lakers team w/ Kobe carrying all the load w/ Dirk doing the same for your team, too much pressure for any superstar.

i dont think cuban will blow the whole team up.. maybe we'd look tp trade terry for a shorter contract... something that expires at 2011....
dirk, josh, dampier and kidd will all expire at the summer of 2011.... and a whole lot of good players will be free agents at that time... lebron is just one of them... and if we have mega capspace at that time, who knows, maybe we could net a couple of guys there? oden, durant and company will also be free agents at that time....IMO, the real rebuilding will be at 2011....

The only 2 SOLID trade values we have are Dirk and Bass, and it'd be just insane to trade Bass since he is great in a rebuilding situation and great off the bench for a championship team.
Trade Dirk and we won't get anywhere near the value he's worth, and we'd still be stuck with Terry, JHo, and Dampier's contracts for 2008-9, 2009-10, & 2010-2011.
Mavs screwed themselves big time trading 4 very good trade assets for Kidd. Now, we have the most expensive roster in the league that can't get out of the first round.

I hate how Terry gets no respect, he's the second to last player I'd trade, behind Dirk. I could give two **** worth for Howard now. 25% FG is unacceptable. We could have done so much better if only he shot at LEAST 40%, and that's not asking for much. I lost faith in this dude, he's tailspinned since Harris left. Trade him to NJ for Richard Jefferson so they can be butt-buddies. Terribly disappointing. It's not exactly over yet, Phoenix showed us that 2 years ago against the Lakers, but it looks like it's time to let things go.

I wouldnt mind a move for Artest or Baron in the summer... More than all of that, I would like a move at coach though. Ugh, just one more Mavs game to suffer through this year. This season was one to forget. I think the Mavs should try to trade up into the top 5 of the draft... They need some fresh legs out there.

Nash would have the same problem he had when he was here before and the same problem Kidd is having now...no atletic finishers like Amare and Marion to make him look super-star level. With Dirk on our team, we don't need a pass expert PG, we need exactly what we HAD in Harris, Ellis or Parker type players.
Don't get me wrong...I like Nash, but that trade does nothing but make both teams worse by depleting our swing position while depleting Phoenix's center position.

i'd be the first person to gladly welcome nash back in a dallas uni....
If Phoenix gives up Nash, I think Dallas ranks as the 28th team they would call right in front of SAS. It no way they trade Nash back to Dallas and take on Jason Kidd again.
But I think its more value on Dallas than people are giving credit for. Howard is having a horrific series but, he is 28 years old and a one-time All-star. His value is going to drop some with this playoff performance and his now public offseason activity but, he is still worth a lot.
I think you can get a decent return on Terry. His play isn't the problem, its his contract. 4 yrs/40 million is alot to take on for a 31 year old role player. But I still don't think he is unmovable. Bass is solid and Kidd is an expiring deal. Its assets there. Its just a question of what direction does Cuban want to go.
