What players could be on the move after 1st rd exits???

Post#1 » by bstein14 » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:56 am

There are quite a few teams who had lofty expectations, yet will be out in the first round.

Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, Houston out West.

Washington and Toronto to lesser extents, in the East.

What players could be out their way out after disappointing playoff performances?

Terry
Camby
Iverson

I think T-Mac stays, for a 2nd year under Adelman, and for a 2nd year with T-Mac/Yao under Adelman.

Dirk is not going anywhere.

Josh Howard.
Anyone on the Mavs not named Dirk or Bass.

Unless its a complete rebuild.

One of Iverson, Melo and Camby

T.J Ford is good as gone.

I expect Josh Howard to be traded, especially after how stupid he showed he is.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Iggy is signed and traded to a team like the Clippers in an attempt to lure away Brand.

Everyone has pretty much nailed everyone on the head.

Kirilenko could be on the move unless the Jazz make the finals.

I don't see Houston giving up Yao, injury prone, but his talent and business related factors are great. Plus Adelman hasn't even had him for that long.

I also don't think Dallas would want to be even more of a perimeter team.

If anybody will go from Houston, it'd be T-Mac.

Neither T-Mac nor Yao will be traded this summer. Why should we? We have a great building block with T-Mac, Yao, & Battier. Every year we just shuffle the role players around them. This year we added Scola, Landry, Francis and Jackson. Expect the Rockets to trade Bobby Jackson. Its the first year in awhile that we've an expring contract as a trade asset. Combine that with possibly Luther Head and we can pick up a good contributer off the bench ala Mike Miller or Nocioni even.

If Josh Howard is traded I hope the Raps pick him up. He looks bad now, but he'd be a great addition to the team.

I don't think they will, either. Especially with Adelman just getting in there.
