Al Horford has regained my respect.

I have to admit I had almost no respect for Al after he injured TJ Ford and lied about tipping the ball in the raptors game where the clock started too quickly. But his taunt of Pierce just made me gain respect for him. Pierce is an arrogant punk and I'm glad he was shown up by a rookie. Paul can talk all the **** he wants to, but he is on the decline while Al will be a better player than he'll ever be? Your thoughts?

hahaha. I lost respect for Al Horford after he did that to pierce. Yeah its cool to see a rookie take action and not be afraid, but he just looks like a straight up punk. I hope pierce goes off for a billion.

I didn't gain or lose respect for Horford based on the trash talking but I liked the idea. Atlanta is a young team playing the heavily favored Celtics, and this kind of action shows the rest of his team that they shouldn't be intimidated at all by what the Celtics have done in the past. Everybody is writing off Atlanta, and if the Hawks believe the hype they are mentally defeated. They are just 10 men playing basketball, anything can happen and with their superior athleticism Atlanta should think of themselves as the bully even if Boston may be much more skilled and experienced.

I'm sure Al could careless about having your respect or not. He has just as much heart as anyone around the league and I see no reason why anyone should hold anything against Al. He even took the time out and stayed at the hospital with TJ.

I won't respect him no matter what he does because of that

Some of you Raptor fans really made that foul into such a big deal. Yes, TJ was injured, but that doesn't mean Al meant to do anything wrong.

I suppose some of you only know this type of court. Padded walls, padded floors, and a diaper for anyone who dare steps inside the color walls.

Well, it's time to leap into the real world with the big boys, because the NBA is already soft enough, so I would hate to see if you saw the old school game.

I hate Phillips Arena. Al's injury on TJ was a terrible judgement call, but nothing that was very serious.

You seriously need to get together with cevap and netsforce, three biggest celtic haters together. I am sure you would have a lot of fun.

And Pierce is only 30. He will be on of the best in the game for quite a few more years. Horford needs to shut up! I don`t mind trashtalk from good veteran players but when a rookie acts like Horford did in this video that is another thing.

Why is it another thing? Why should he feel afraid to trash talk a veteran player? They both play the game right now, their prior history in basketball have nothing to do with the current outcome. Horford is showing that he isn't intimidated by Boston.

No, he is acting like an arrogant clown. What he did in that video was beyond trash talk...

I really didn't care i thought it was funny...Pierce looked so mad afterwards too LOL

And i want the C's to win all this year. Also doesn't KG like to call players on the other team Mother *****rs? Or is that those players' name?

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Al Horford is no worse than Garnett....they are both emotional players, they want to win....Horford definately has my respect for not just rolling over dead like people seem to expect him to just because he's a rookie/plays for the Hawks. Its a competition...emotions run high.

it will be funny when paul pierce sits down at the end of the season with his ring, his numerous all-star appearances and being known as one of the best players in the league.

Pierce will never be "one of the best players in the league". He has always needed the support of greater players around him to win, just like now. What sort of gang signs were flashed by Paul during the end of that game? Who knows.

Al is a great player and by all accounts a classy individual. I'm sure he could care less that a bunch of Celtics fans are mad that he talked trash to their boy in the playoffs.

And Paul Pierce spat at the Cavs bench several years ago. So you C's fans need to get off your high horse with the "taunting" crap.

Wait, Celtic fans complaining about Horford trash talking?
This seasons Celtics are up there with the most annoyingly trash talking teams there has been.
And as for Pierce, yes, super talented player.
But, the list of players who would be out of this world when surrounded by KG and Allen, is pretty long.

Always needed the help of greater players? Like...like Ricky Davis? Or Antoine Walker? Yes much help. You must mean Eric Williams or Marcus Banks. Nah, Probably Vitaly Potapenko.

This "taunting" thing is not that big of a deal. Like many have previously said, an emotional rookie just won his first playoff game against the best team in the L. Garnett has done worse with bigger leads, so who cares?

I don't care about the trash talking. My team is notorious for it so I don't care if others do it. I don't think it was smart of Al to do it. We're gonna be fired up the next game and I expect a blowout.

 at the poster saying PP is in the decline. He's probably having his best/one of the best seasons of his career.
