I didnt even search long for either. I picked the first video that showed up. We are talking about athleticism here, not game which i think you are slighting shaq.

Dont give me this garbage about getting "harmed" dunking the ball. Take a look at that google groups thread and you will see the same arguments made today about the past being more fundamentally sound or just better overall were the same arguments made by people in the 80's and 90's.

I'm just looking at what I see and shaq is clearly the superior basketball athlete in these 2 videos, taken at the same age.

You also got another thing wrong in a previous post. You quoted wayne embry completely out of context who hasnt been the cavs gm for quite some time, certainly not in the LeBron cavs era.

When that quote was taken, Lebron james most likely wasnt even born.

Sorry--about the first statement I bolded, you're just flat wrong. What I said about retaliating for showboat dunks in that era was reality.

As for Shaq being "clearly superior", well I can't stop you from thinking that. though it makes me shake my head and chuckle--that judgement being from someone who never saw Wilt play and thus has little clue. This is still America until the politically correct crowd totally takes over. But I'll be kind and say you simply don't have the data to draw a truly informed conclusion on the matter, unlike me, because I've seen them both. And I'm not completely unknowledgeable about the game--I've coached and reffed. Wilt was not only better, he was significantly better and much better purely as an athlete.

I never said Wilt wasn't an impressive athlete. I simply stated that by the footage i've seen, shaq looked more impressive athletically on the BASKETBALL COURT.

As far as hard fouls on any show boat dunking. I have only heard tall tales of this, much like wilts figure when it came to women. Are you going to dispute the number of women he had sex with as well?

I simply have seen no evidence that Wilt was superior athletically to shaq or these hard fouls old timers speak of. You are acting like shaq is some kind of scrub and cant believe anybody is comparing him to wilt.

You also didnt touch on your straw man argument you tried to make with Lebron. Wayne Embry clearly had no idea who lebron was at the time of that quote as well as him not even being in the cavs front office during the Lebron era.
