Seriously, unless current players have 3+ MVP's and or 2+ Finals MVP's they shouldn't be compared to any all time great in MJ, Magic, Wilt, Russell, Kareem, or Bird

From an unbiased NBA fan, i can easily say, lebron james is the best player to ever step foot on the court.

LeRydee23 comment was semi funny.

The fact that two people took it seriously was even funnier.

LeBron has the potential to be better but right now I think it's a bit premature to suggest he is on the same level as MJ. MJ was the best player in the NBA for 10+ years.

Yup. Kobe owns Lebron. Destroys him with ease every time they match up.

To everyone who is saying Lebron isn't on Mj's level due to his lack of championship/mvp/finals mvp/wutever, u are correct...obviously mj career wise is waaaayyyyy ahead of lebron. lebron, as far as accomplishments, has made dents in certain categories and no doubt will make many more, but to compare them based on career and mvp's and all that is stupid. hes not even 25 years old yet!! lol now, where we can compare jordan and lebron is effect on the game, stats, etc. lebron is up there with mj on stats (at least season stats, career avererages, and the like)...mj clearly beats him in efficiency, scoring, blocks, steals, etc. Also, mj's 32.5 8 and 8 eclipses anything lebron has done as of yet... now, effect on the game...the most important criteria for me. lebron obviously draws an enormous amount of attention, gets to the line, has a good fg%, gets to the rim at will. however, he takes too many 3's. he does get his teammates involved very well, rebounds well, and his d is a bit underrated; his defensive strength is his versatility. he can guard many players, fairly well. Still jordan in his younger days and prime affected the game so much like a dominant big man. He was better on d than lebron, scored more, shot better (due to knowing his limitations, thus having better shot selection.... plus just wouldn't stop going to the rim, kinda like dwade and iverson now.), and created for others. Where i think lebron can improve is letting others do their thing. This allows others to facilitate offense for themselves and the team, and even help lebron out. Thats the biggest difference between kobe and lebron right now...kobe has learned to allow others to help him out more, similar to jordan after he mastered the triangle offense. Lebron is very unselfish and i beleive he is a winner, and i think he'll learn how to do this better. certainly getting better teammates will help that ( see kobe this year). So right now, jordan has lebron in terms of affect on the game. Lebron is great and young tho and has shown the ability to step up like mj in the playoffs and in the clutch. Continuing what he has done and developing over his career, i may take lebron in the end, but hes gonna have to show me a career's worth of greatness for me to do that.

Now that's incorrect, Lebron is easily on Kobe's level (he has probably already passed it) at this point. But I don't want to start a Lebron vs. Kobe debate.

Unbiased? Come on, who are you trying to fool? Lebron is the best player in the NBA today, but he's not on MJ's level... yet

LeBron is a far, far, far superior player to Jordan.

At least DeAndre Jordan.

Anyone that does such a comparison at this point should be automatically banned. It's silly to compare LeBron to a legend at this point. Right now, LeBron is not better than Bird, or Dr J or even Dominique, how in the world can he be better than Jordan.

Of course anyone that is blaming LeBron for not letting trusting his teammates has no idea what in the world they are talking about either.
