I don't really want to talk about it. I should just move on. NBA success has a lot to do with luck, just ask the Cavs.

Besides, I haven't watched this series so I don't really know how he's playing, but it sounds good.

Yes, you are.

It's mainly about how the lottery is about luck and the Bucks had horrible luck with their draft position last year.

But that was the plan anyways right? I mean we get the #1 pick and it's happy, awesome, our future is set celebration and if we get the #6 pick it's angry, depressed fan trying to forget what just happened. :lol:

Well in my case I get drunk just for the hell of it so there is a good chance it wouldn't have matter.

Wasn't there talk of trading CV and ostensibly Yi for the 3rd pick?

Horford's looking good, but I'm still not sure if I'd take that trade.

By the way, Paul's playing well too. I do like Bogut, but damn.

We should have traded down to get him! Move our pick and a future and a player to move down 3 spots!

Seattle and Boston did it! You could have moved down and got Horford or had the Hawks draft him for us and give them a player!

No one listens to me. I told you if we had him next to Bogut for the next 10 years we would have a dynasty!

I know what I see! That is why Larry Harris is unemployed now! He was so enamored with a guy who did not want to come here.

The high flying Sixers were going to offer us 3 players for Yi! Perhaps Carney, unsung rookie Thaddeus Young and Louis Williams or a pick
and we turned that down as well!

Some deals that you do not make can kill you! Just like the Hawks not taking Chris Paul. Someone should be fired in Atlanta just for that dumb

That was a Michael Jordan Sam Bowie type Hall of Fame draft mistake as was Detriot not taking Carmelo over Milicic.

I knew Al Horford for us was a once in lifetime pick to go with Bogut! I said it all summer. If we never have a lottery pick we should take him!

But noooooooooooooo. We did not. Now look at us. Now if we get the #3 pick WE HAD BETTER MOVE DOWN TO TAKE MICHAEL BEASLEY and or Eric Gordon!

Good? No great! It all depends on who you get and how you draft. Larry Harris had the wrong philosophy going into that draft like I said. He would the best availible player or the best money or marketable player over THE PLAYER WHO FIT OUR NEEDS TO WIN MORE!

Many of you will not have the guts to step up and say it now, but you had all wanted who you thought was the best player availible over getting and going after the right player!

Yi was not the right player nor the best if you ask me. Horford was the only guy in that entire draft 1-7 who we needed outside of Jeff Green.

I would have taken Horford over Durant! Many called me a fool for that.

He gives us everything we needed! He was a winner, a warrior, a banger and a guy with a tireless work ethic, heart, toughness, smarts, and a guy whom you could rely on and who would ne durable and not tied up with other committments and politics...

You could put him next to Bogut for the next 10 years and not worry abou him! Solid as a rock. You would not question his devotion, and desire and hustle and basketball IQ....ever!

Instead the bumbling Bucks' look at international money and appeal. But like I told you before, IF YOU DON'T WIN NOBODY GETS A DAMN WHAT YOU DO OVER In China!

And neither will Yi down the road if this does not turn around!

I'm sure I wouldn't hear it anywhere else on the planet.

I'm really not sure Horford is a once in a lifetime player. He would've been a good fit and the perfect player for us, but he's no MJ, Kobe or Wilt.

The great thing about being a post Bogut bucks fan! I can't feel bad about the Bucks not getting Paul as if they did I'd be following Bogut into the league for another team.

Too bad at the time Horford was drafted, we had poor management in our front office and owner meddling. An experienced GM with autonomy might have swung a deal to get him. Then again he may have not seen Ford as the long term answer at PG and gone with Chris Paul. Whatever...I sure would have loved to see Bogut and Horford on the court together in Buck uniforms!

I didn't mean it that way. His other option might have been taking Paul over Bogut. However, hindsight be what it is, still happy with Bogut. Right there with you as a strong supporter.

Past is the past, sure would have been nice to have Horford, but the deed is done. Ill say this much he sure looked tough against KG last night. I have family down in the ATL and get to a few Hawks games a year, lot of awesome young talent on that squad. Really amazing to see a guy take over a game the way Joe Johnson did last night, poor Ray Ray was had a few times. If they can continue to develop and maybe add another key veteren peice this offseason, Atlanta could be an eastern contender next year. Id say behind Kobe and Nash, Josh Smith is my fav in the league. Good luck to him, Horford, and the rest of the highlight factory in Game 5.....they are going to need it!
