Spurs win

I'd be surprised to see Diaw/Bell playing like that again, because Amare wasn't really involved last game, and part of Bell's success was off Diaw's touches.

If not tonight, I think we'll get game 6 :)

No matter the outcome in game 5. As a Suns fan, I have a lot more respect for your Spurs. I have been a Suns fan for years and years, and I will admit that after last season I was all over the "refs screwed us" bandwagon. But your team is just great, thats all there is to it. I haven't seen the Spurs getting all kinds of one sided calls at all this series. The BAD calls have really been effecting both teams. I have said on the Suns board already, the only way to even try to get into the heads of the Spurs is to blow them out like game 4 in there own home court. If this thing is close in the 4th qtr tonight then.........congrats and good luck.

I must admit i've grown alot fonder of the Suns fans this series than in the past, my hate for them has dissolved a fair bit.

However it is time..

MUST WIN for the Spurs, we need to close it out TONIGHT. I believe that Dallas will win tonight just because they are desperate, and if we do pull off a win it will give us a nice little break that we do need. I however would like to see the Hornets in the second round rather than Dallas.. LETS GO SPURS, FINISH IT OFF TONIGHT PLEASE!

Well I will say this...there are some excellent suns posters like SDU,rsavaj,nashill... but it also helps that most of the bad posters that were Suns fans have been banned before the playoffs...lol. I don't think anyone has been suspended outside of a few Raptor/MAgic posters during the playoffs.

I'd say that's because the series path has been different :)

No problem. The Spurs should take care of business and extinguish the Suns tonight.

May the Spurs win!!!!!

I thought about game 4 a while now. The good news here is that the reasons the Suns won were really simple:

1) Turnovers/Fast-breaks: we had twice as many TO's as they did I think and that leads to easy points they get on the other end a lot of times. We are usually good at those things, taking care of the ball and transition D.

2) 3-point game-within-the-game: Another area we are usually good at, protecting the 3-point line and winning that +/- part of the game. They were a +15pts in game 4 behind the arc. We never, ever give up 3 pointers and fast break points to anyone in the playoffs, regardless if it was the Suns, Nuggz, old-Mavs, etc. Any team that relied on fastbreaks and 3-pointers to win always sealed their fate with a Spurs draw in the playoffs.

Pop is Pop and will nicely tell them: It would be nice if we protected the ball, got back on D and tried not to let them shoot an open -ball. Just a thought guys.

Still, they played us tough in our building before without fastbreaks and 3-pointers, so, it wil still be a tough game. But a tough game is Ok and winnable. Better than giving up fastbreaks and 3-pointers because that leads to blowouts.

Well it looks like we won't be going down by 20 in the first quarter, the only thing I was worried about. I don't think the Suns can beat us without a fast start.

Good first quarter, parker once again is on fire, 13 points and 3 assists. Although Manu with 2 fouls kinda sucks

Watching Nash try to stay in front of Parker (the rare times he gets caught on him) is comical.

Ok can we please stop playing Finley on Diaw??? Put Udoka or someone who can actually defend him in.
