Honestly Kleiza did more to help the Nuggets win that series than Melo.
Melo scores a ton of points, and has "superstar" skills but he's not a player who leaves it all on the floor, doing anything to win, even if that means passing.
He had more TO's than assists this series.
I'm sure you could probably get a lot for Melo, and your GM needs to seriously consider making that move if this team is going to make it to the next level.
Carmelo just doesn't make his teammates better.
Now that the season is over whats next?

NO offensive discipline.
NO defensive discipline.
This team is not built to win championships. Not even close.
It's time to start over. We have a lot of attractive trade bait. And let's get a coach who knows how to get the most from his roster. A coach who knows that it takes both offensive and defensive discipline to win in the playoffs.
Either the organization builds a team that can win, or let's just be satisified being first or second in scoring and getting killed in the postseason.

Right because Kleiza does not benefit from Melo and AI drawing the defenses attention. Only a fool would think that Kleiza could do **** without those two on the floor.

Melo will light it up at the olympics, mainly because that team is built better, granted, the players on the usa team are all standouts, but not everyone is a superstar.
front office should take note of how team usa has been put together (in terms of selecting which players will play best together and fill roles, mesh as a unit) and apply the same thinking with the Nugs.
right now we're a mashup of talent..that's about it.
we'll never go anywhere with this team.
it's not about who's the superstar player, it's about which players play best together and balance eachothers strengths and weaknesses.
Keep Melo Kmart and JR, build AROUND that.

Exactly. Kleiza was fool's gold this series. The Laker's entire defensive strategy was to put as much pressure as they could on Iverson and Melo, and let the other guys beat them. That's the only reason he looked as good as he did. Kleiza has sucked the entire season except for maybe a month or two. Kleiza had free lanes to the rim, that's the only reason he looked as good as he did. Outside of game 1, he choked. Did he even hit a single 3 in the other remaining games?

Honastly, go away now. People are in here trying to talk about the team and be constructive. Go back to the Lakers forum already and stay there. You people have to be the most annoying fans on the Internet.
Most annoying fans on & off the Internet. Trying being around a lot of the Laker fans. They're 1 of the reasons I stopped liking the Lakers & watching the NBA. They ruin the people's enjoyment of the NBA. Still worse than the Ingratriot[Patriot] fans.
Yes I do know some Laker fans who do know how 2 act right.
Had 2 get that out right away cause I don't want any of them threatening my life right now.
