Well, we have a series boys. This team better do a serious gut check back in Boston. They have been playing embarrassing basketball and Doc hasn't helped. Time to man up and do what they have been doing all year. Atlanta has confidence right now and the Cs need to do it for 4 quarters, not just the 1st and 3rd.

I just pray to God they rediscover their defense, which is what got them here in the first place.
Seriously, the Hawks have all the confidence in the world, and the Celtics are so tentative about everything. Too much thinking and not enough playing basketball and trusting their teammates. I hop the Garden crowd can be as crazy as the crowd in Atlanta and give the Celtics the lift they need.
We have to be serious--the Cs were totally outplayed these last two games. It wasn't (just) the refs, it wasn't a David Stern-led conspiracy, it was good, poised basketball against bad, sloppy basketball.

Do I feel confident that we are going to win? NO!
Whenever Doc Rivers is your coach you are in trouble. This guy can basically lose to anyone. It is up to the players and fans to get this win. With Rivers we are at a huge disadvantage, so we need to play twice as good to compensate having him on the bench.
We have completely lost our game and our rotation in this first round series. Players need to find their games and roles all over again, hopefully with the help of the fans we can put together a balanced, organized performance.
Go, C`s!

If we don't win this game then the series is pretty much over. This team looks scared and doesn't want to take the ball to the basket. Atlanta just seems to want it more and is playing hungrier.
With that said, if we take game 5, then I can see us winning it in Atlanta, because I'm not sure how they'll respond after losing the momentum that they have. I feel like Mike Bibby is a huge plus for that team with all of his experience in the playoffs.
Should be a good one if we make free throws and take the ball to the basket.

ditto.
And I'm not a betting man but I wonder how much Los Vegas has made on this series. Last night was a game coming out after we got blown out by ATL and they made us even more favorites to win. I bet we'll be like 12 point favorites for this game. Vegas is calling....they have your money and wanted to let you know they've come for the rest of it.

BTW, I know this is out of left feild. But I was wondering, what if we used our height against ATL in an effort to try and win some of the 50/50 balls?
We could run a lineup of
Ray at PG
Posey at SG
Pierce at SF
KG at PF
Perk at C
Posey will cover Joe. Ray will cover Bibby. And we know Ray can stay with Bibby. And Posey is our best defender.
Then that leaves Pierce as the guy to bring the ball up the floor. And gives us our best scrapers for loose balls on the floor in Pierce/Posey/KG
I know the playoffs isn't the place to start shuffling around line-ups but I think this gives us a rare opportunity to use our height and not get burned since Bibby isn't fast/strong enough to hurt Ray like almost any other team's PG would be able too.

Game four was so strange. Me and my boys(Who are all Laker fans) were cheering for the Celtics with me because they want a Lakers-Celtics finale. Joe Johnson looked like Kobe freaking Bryant out there, slicing through the defense with an immense amount of moves.
In conclusion, Ray Allen is NOT a good defender, i've seen him since he was a Sonic and either Posey or KG need to help out on Joe. Of course, a performance like that will never happen again(20 in the fourth), but we can't sleep on these Hawks.
C'mon Boston! Get the team their championship.
