plus, the celtics would have won if ray allen was a bit more athletic. did anyone see doc rivers after joe johnson drove to the right for the 4th straight time. he was screaming "DAMMIT RAY!"

In fairness I think people should be able to watch the video and not just see a picture.

It's about 12 seconds in when the ref tries to hold him back. I honestly don't think he should be suspended, but the NBA has suspended people for lesser things before...

I used to like Garnett before he went to Boston and became a focal point in the NBA's hype machine. I hate the Boston commericals at every break(especially the Gatorade one), I hate their cockiness(what have they won really?), I hate the halftime shows where they mention them with other Cetlic greats(When has the regualr season made one great?). Overall I just don't like them or their smug attitudes. I want to see Atlanta win in 6.

He's got about as big a risk of being suspended as The Queen had of being whistled for anything when he elbowed Blatche in their game 1. If once isn't enough, what about the elbow he gave Webber last year? No whistle. The NBA won't suspend Garnett, the center of their new hype machine like booman said- I guarantee it.

I see a lot of fans panicking. It just shows how underrated Rondo is. He leaves the game with a big lead and they end up losing. He is the most important player on the team, and easily one of the most underrated in the entire league. The Celtics still have buried the Hawks in both home games, so I won't worry until Atlanta can show they can win in Boston. Hopefully Rondo will get at least 40 minutes if it's close or I'd like to see Thibodeau replace Doc after this season in the case of a series loss. Cassell should be a question mark too based on his play.

The Celtics and their players have done more for the NBA than any other team in NBA history. Why should that matter?

Let's get this straight right now my friend. I said I hate this version of the Celtics and even though I hated the other version also they earned my respect. These guys haven't earned anything to me except the best record in the league this past year and they act like they have ownership of the NBA title. Dennis Johnson, Tiny Archibald, Larry Bird, Paul Silas, Bill Russell, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish and every other great celtic, other then Danny Ainge have my respect.

Memphis was actually worse than them. Pierce and Jefferson hardly played together. They were 9-7 with Pierce and Jefferson together. I wouldn't say that's an embarassment.

I'm not sure which actions they've done that you're referring to that show they think they own the title. The Russell-Chamberlain rivalry was considered a huge rivalry as far as making the NBA more mainstream. You may not have teams like the Bobcats or the Raptors without the Celtics and their players. I dislike what the Yankees do but at the same time I'm grateful for what Ruth did for baseball. Russell is the Babe Ruth of basketball, so I expect people to be grateful for what he did. He was the first great defender in an offensive-oriented sport, and Cousy was the first great point guard who helped revolutionize his position. Their influence is still being felt today so I expect people to be happy for the team. It may be different players but it's still the same team that has made the NBA what it is today.

Last year's tank job by the Celtics was epic. Shutting down players by putting them on the IR (it's telling that Jefferson and Pierce only played together 9 times), losing 2nd half leads by inserting scrubs, etc. etc. I mean they even had a double digit home losing streak. That's far from the Celtics pride I remember. And I don't hate the Celtics, obviously as a Wizards fan I've got nothing against swagger (and unlike the Wiz the Celtics often back theirs up), I'm just not ready to crown them yet like most everyone else has.
