...games are so far apart in the Playoffs? I'm talking about why the Raptors-Magic play Game 5 and finish it before LA-Denver even plays Game 4

because it's hard to rearrange the schedule with 8 different matchups ... saturday-sunday is easy you know ...4 games sat , 4 sunday ...but the weekday is a lot more complicated

Yeah they want to be able to cover as many games as possible and for example tonight, two of the games won't be seen by most of the general public and that doesn't do the league any good. So they need to spread them out occasionally to get more coverage.

I was beginning to suspect they gave the number one seeds a preferential first round schedule. I mean Seed #1 should take out their opponent fairly quickly (someone tell Boston) and they already have a lot of rest periods between their first round games.
