I am honestly confused.

Google is your friend.

But ... what is "uh lay shun"? Is that some kind of Bostonian word for the language of your betters?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Bull, Cassell picked out JJ, trying to get our best player ejected. Clever but dirty.

If Sam was really clever he'd sue Peter Jackson because he could claim that Gollum's look was modeled on him and he didn't get fair compensation.

No. Now, Pierce gets fined 25 thou for throwing up "potential gang signs". It's easy to freeze the image, but there was a lot more going on during that whole incident. Stern should just stop acting like a wuss and let that whole thing go. If he's going to suspend anyone he needs to suspend a lot more than KG.

pierce threw up gang signs? LOL...what was it a "C"? hahaha...anyone got a screen shot of this...hillarious

We can't expect Garnett to get suspended. We shouldn't and we want Boston at full force.
They have no excuses why they couldn't beat the Hawks on the road even if you want to blame the shot clock, the refs, and even the fans!
KG has a lot to stand up for because he has brought this type of effort out of the Hawks with his and his teammates' bantering.

Pull out all the tricks and defend your home court KG! Tell Doc to send in the hired 1 year guns so they can justify the reason why you paid so much to get past the Hawks in Round 1.

Truth is, once the Hawks are done with Boston, they might not have enough to get to the Finals; somewhere that none of the Boston 3 party have ever seen. Something in common with the Hawks.

680 the fan talked about this during the morning show today. They even said the NBA is looking into gang members that are suppose to be friends of Paul's that are sitting behind the Hawks bench during game 5.

^^^^ Got to love the optimism from td00.

Now, the pessimism. The Hawks still suck on the road. If they overcome that I'll be amazed (but it won't be the first time this series I've been amazed). Celtics are still favored big in the 3 game series. Expect defensive adjustments to neutralize Joe and a very tightly called game in #5. It'll be interesting to see who can step up on the road and if Woodson can make the counter-adjustments necessary to have a shot to win.

I have no predictions for game 6 other than I won't miss it. Anything could happen either way.

I really don't want any suspensions unless something happens in game 5 meriting a suspension. I'd rather my team lose in 6 than win with league office suspensions affecting the outcome and tainting my memories of this series.

KG should be suspended because he pushed a ref plain and simple.

+1

To be realistic, he deserves it. C'mon if Kobe gets a suspension for "flailing" and "unnatural arm waving" KG deserves one for shoving a ref. That's short of Van Exel's forearm shiver

I still can't believe that this has gone unnoticed by the media. There is a real chance that KG could suspended.

Saw that. Everyone knows it happens, now the Celts have no excuses - the league lets their star physically abuse referees.

What KG did I can live with. He did it in the heat of the moment and there was nothing malicious about it.

However, I don't understand how he can not stick to the letter of the law (the rule says a player is AUTOMATICALLY suspended if he purposely makes contact with a ref) after what happened to Phoenix last year.
