Did the last month of the regular season hurt us?
I know they were still winning, but the players had different roles. Different combinations were on the court. Substitution patterns were different. Now we enter the playoffs and we are trying to switch back to what we previously were doing. Ball moment just isn't there. D isn't there like it was (although I do give some credit to Atlanta's athletic lineup). They better get back in sync fast.

No. What hurt us was the Hawks scoring more points than us in each of the last 2 games.
Seriously, if all of this stuff were big problems, what happened in games 1 and 2?? The Celtics just need to play better. The Hawks are a young, athletic team and they're stepping up to the challenge. The Celts just need to take back control.

Not to be trollish but I think it was the last 5 minutes of game 2 that hurt you guys. I don't know if Doc Rivers was aware ya'll was up by 20 and it's ok to let the starters rest or if he was just trying to embarass the Hawks. Either way those actions resulted in the Hawks playing better ball. I remember watching the game like "Why is KG still out there?" and "Why does it look as if the Celtics are looking to embarass these youg guys from Atlanta?" Whatever the case was I think that started what is occuring now. Please don't ban me it's just my humble opinion.

The Hawks played like trash, missing everything and throwing the ball away, that's what happened - I don't think we played much different, we've been kinda bad all series.

Nah, booman. You have a good idea of what's going on. You can bet that Horford told his boys about Pierce's little bet. That was a stupid move by Pierce.
I thought the last month has hurt us because the Big 3 weren't closing out any close games. We have been in only about 10 close games all season. The Hawks might have had triple that. I thought the experience helped the bench, but I guess not.
