The part I don't understand is why Rajon rondo would be second on the team in FGA, and half double digit assists. KG should not have 1 assists, he should have 4-6. Rondo should be 4th or 5th on the team in FGA, after the big 3, plus whoever is having a hot shooting night. Rondo isn't a scorer - he's just too inefficient to be taking 16 shots in a game.

No, you play to the defense. If you are Rondo bringing up the ball and the other team is playing off of you, then you have to take the shot to make the defense be true. Otherwise, you're just giving your defender to your teammate.
From what I've seen last night, Rondo's shots weren't forced. Rather, they were given to him by the defense. Sam Cassell on the other hand...
